Showed up on time, very professional, work was done well and quickly.

I showed Tim several areas with weeds or grass growing in rock or garden beds.  I wanted the rock and garden cleaned up and new rock added to low areas.  Most of the rock was a river rock.  There was also one area on the side of my house with granite that needed cleaned up and I had a large boxed area with shrubs and mulch where the weeds were coming over from the rock.  I was very clear that I wanted the granite area, the river rock and the effected part of the mulch box cleaned up and new materials applied.  All Tim heard was the river rock, even though I had specifically showed him the other areas, so that is what he put on his contract.  I am partially at fault here for not making sure the write-up included all areas.  I was at my job when the work was performed.  When I got home, I was more than annoyed to find that the crew had only cleaned up the river rock, and had also pulled out 2 healthy shrubs.  They had not touched the granite area or the mulch area.  Plus, they had not added enough rock to the areas that they did do.  When I talked to Tim later, at first he tried to tell me that he remembered that I had shown him the other areas, but he had forgotten to write them on the contract.  Then the story became that he misunderstood that I had wanted them done.  Why would I have pointed them out???  He also tried to tell me that the shrubs were dead when I know for a fact they were not.  He did agree to credit me for the shrubs, but because he hadn't included the other 2 areas on the contract, he wasn't going to do the work unless I paid him another $900!!!  I was not about to pay him another dime.  He agreed to add more river rock, but that is all.  This is a real shame because I have a neighbor who was anxious to hear how this went because he is in need of a landscaper.  After this experience, I would not recommend them to anyone.

Creative Landscaping & Garden Inc were very good. We were very pleased with their work. We had a stairway that had several broken stones. They took out the broken stones and replaced them, and it looks very nice and enhances the value of my home. They were very professional. They showed up on time, they finished the job on time and it was well supervised. From what I know of this type of work it was reasonably priced.

Excellent. I received a vey fair quote, and work began when promissed. We had to put the job on hold because of last minute notice that Jefferson County was going to repave my street. They did an exceelnt job of working around this inconvienence. We did make some adjustments in scope along the way, and the price difference was always fair. The owner is very easy to work with, and did not charge until the work was complete. I would work with Creative landscaping again.

It was a great experience....the only issue I had was I had to call Tim to confirm that the work was going to be done on the scheduled day that we planned.

They were excellent.  They did a great job, they worked hard, and the guys were great.  

We didn’t end up using them for the patio, but we did use them for our landscaping. They quoted us about $850 only for the landscaping. We contacted them because of one of their reviews on Angie’s List. My husband got the quote from them. They seemed very available and willing to take on the project. I never really saw them. They were prompt and got everything done the way they said it would be done. They did a lot of digging and they said they would come back to fix it. So, they did that and it was good as well. We have a pretty big font yard. They had a fair price and they were hard workers. They did exactly what they said they would do. We would use their services in the future too.

Tim showed us a job he had completed previously (it was similar to what we wanted). He gave us a quote. We paid half the quoted price up front and the balance upon completion. The crew was punctual, professional and hard working. When we had concerns, Tim took care of them personally. We would use them again.

The job was to construct three custom designed flower boxes from colored flagstone. The craftsmanship was exceptional, with each stone cut and hand-chipped prior to installation by an experienced mason. The work was done professionally, on time and on budget. I would recommend Creative Landscaping to anyone interested in high quality custom landscaping work for their home.

They were professional, courteous and competent. The price was very fair. They cleaned up with high efficiency. This company was run with the highest quality. They were very thoughtful. We have no compliments with them at all.

TIm gave us a great price and consulted with us through the whole process. The whole project took two and a half days and they left the work area very clean. I was impressed with their professionalism.

Tim was very responsive and his quote was comparable to what we would've had to pay to do it ourselves. It was fantastic to get it done in one day!

I called,Tim responded promptly, came over and got all the details of the work I wanted done, told me the cost, and set up an appointment for doing the work. Great so far. On the appointed day, he came with a crew, told them what to do very quickly, and disappeared. The crew proceeded to lop off the tops of all my shrubs (NOT pruning them) and cutting off branches (in totally the wrong way, as was later pointed out to me by a reputable tree trimming company. One of the most important aspects of the job, to me, was trimming the branches above an electrical cable. They didn't have a ladder or saw long enough to do that (although it was part of my original request) and so left that job undone. I was barely able to communicate with the crew who neither spoke nor understood much English, although they tried to understand me and seemed polite and friendly. They kept saying, OK? OK? so I finally just said OK, now go. They cleaned up the debris pretty well and drove off. I couldn't contact Tim after he took my check at the beginning of the day, and was not able to contact him after that. The reputable company I then called to trim the tree which Tim's crew couldn't trim also re-trimmed the other branches which Tim's crew had cut incorrectly, and said I should just let my shrubs grow out for a couple years and then they could come and prune them correctly. Those shrubs did not, of course, bloom this year, because their tops had been completely cut off. And I never got a refund for the work Tim's crew couldn't do.

Tim got things started right away, and in spite of cold weather, his crews did a fine job with the wall and timber border, finished with a professional look. Weather delayed the flagstone walk, but at first opportunity, he had his crews out putting in the walkway, and the work done was excellent, including improvements to the borders of the walkway required to give a professional look.

This is the 4th time I've had work done by this company in the past two years. Estimates by Tim Le are free, and are scheduled within a few days of requesting same. In this case, the estimate was done early in the morning and the work was accomplished in about two hours later than same day. Both of the workers spoke English. I recognized the men as being the same from the previous times I'd hired this company. They took pride in their work and volunteered to do some additional yard clean up that was not included in the estimate. I consider it unusual but very beneficial for employees to be long term in the landscape business.

Although the work was done very well, I did feel like they were way over priced. There were two technicians that came out and they were pleasant and nice but I thought that for what they did, it was too expensive.

THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME AND BEGAN THEIR WORK PROMPTLY. THEY WORKED HARD, GOT THE JOB DONE ACCURATELY & IN A TIMELY MANNER. THEY DID AN OVERALL GOOD JOB.
