The service provided by this company was excellent. They were responsive, timely and professional. Although there was some confusion at the outset about the scope of the project and we had to reschedule the service call, the work performed was top-notch. In addition, when it turned out that the installation was a larger project than initially anticipated, the company stood by their original quote for the service. I will definitely be calling them again for any of my plumbing needs.

Fantastic! On-time, professional, efficient, pleasant to have in our home, shared knowledge on lots of questions we threw at him while on the job and all this at a reasonable and fair price. They were our 3rd bid and for the work and by far the most reasonable and professional. We will definitely hire them for further work!

Nick and Martin weren't only punctual, they were early, which worked out great for us.  They got right to work, letting us know how they would perform the job, and what materials they would use.  The total job took about 3 hours, a bit longer than anticipated as we asked them if they could install an additional line for the gas range, which they willingly did.  They also gave advice about how to maintain the gas lines, and tips on what should be done now to prolong the serviceability of current lines.  Very helpful!  When I was writing the check, I mentioned that I thought there was a discount listed on Angie's List.  Nick wasn't aware of anything, and rather than take the time to look it up, I just paid the full amount.  Later, when I did have time, I checked on AL to find that I should have received $75 off my bill.  I left a message the next morning with Colorado Plumbing, and received a call back within 30 minutes.  The person I spoke with was absolutely wonderful, and even drove to my house the very next day to deliver the check I had written and pick up another for the reduced amount.  This was customer service to the max.  Both the honesty and responsiveness were very impressive, as well as the excellent work completing the gas line installation.  I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again and recommend them to others.

I was very pleased that the company could perform the work I needed the day after I contacted them.  Jim Unger showed up on time and got straight to work assessing what needed to be done. He was also patient in answering additional questions I had about other plumbing issues in our home. He took time to check that our sump pump was operational and gave me information on what the price would be for the additional items I asked him about. He also showed me how to properly drain my hot water heater to remove mineral deposits that settle to the bottom of the tank. He was very easy to work with and it was obvious he knew what he was doing. I also inquired about his gas line services and found that he can install gas lines for outdoor fire pits and outdoor kitchens.

Of 4 providers I called they were the only ones who wanted the job (I was surprised at that). They were difficult to reach by phone on 4 different days making project coordination difficult. Job was started on time as promised. Asked for the job to be permitted, which required an interim inspection. First inspection failed for elect. bonding missing. Next trip it was fixed but the price now went up. The miss on the estimate for the bonding was split, the contractor paid the labor & I paid the copper wire. Next reinspect was missed cause I couldn't find out when the inspector was coming. 3rd try, inspector said pipe was bonded in wrong place - that got fixed & was passed. Final hook up went well BUT last connections were not leak tested & the new line was not purged of air (causing other issues later). Nice folks to work with & very courteous to the customer but between plumbers & inspectors "finger-pointing" with each other a 2 day job took 6 days to finish.

Not only were they late for each appointment, their work was not done well.  When installing a clawfoot tub package, the master plumber cut an oil-rubbed bronze pipe (that wasn't supposed to be cut at all) too short.  He claimed the tub didn't come with installation instructions; however, he never asked me for them.  Had they not been with the tub, I would have printed them out for him from the manufacturer.  I had to re-order the part and have it fed-exed.  He didn't even offer to pay for the new pipe.  Beyond that, when he left from the install, the sink was not flush against the wall, he used a cheap PVC u-pipe with an exposed vanity, the toilet ran and as mentioned, the tub wasn't installed due to the cut pipe.  In addition, after the work on the radiant heat, they must not have checked the boiler because I can't get it to come on.
Response from COLORADO PLUMBING & GAS LINES
"This is the first we have heard about your complaints. It's unfortunate that you did not get your facts straight before posting a negative review that hurts our company. We don't make appointments for construction type projects. We normally just schedule them as a.m. or p.m. We did not set your sink. We did however correct leaks from the contractor who did set the sink. We did not supply the cheap p-trap or install it. We also did not perform the boiler work. Another plumber performed the boiler work for us, and he would be happy to come by to check it. We set your toilet but did not supply it. If it is running, it probably needs adjusting. That would be a toilet issue, not an installation issue. We are happy to refund you for the pipe that was cut incorrectly. As a matter of fact, we assumed that would be deducted from our charges. Of course, we would need to be paid first. We have not received any payment for your project to date. It is unfortunate that you chose to post a review before even contacting us. The internet and sites like these can be very damaging in the wrong hands. And shame on Angie's list for not making sure that we had been contacted before this was posted. You should at least make sure the contractor has had a chance to correct the issue."

They were very nice and professional. I thought he might be a little expensive, but rally don't know. His helper was a little sloppy in the finish work.
