I discovered Colorado Custom Ironworks when I had given up on finding an affordable, professional and high quality cable railing system for my deck. I had received many crazy high quotes combined poor customer service that was going to require me to do all my own measurements and self install. Corey and his team came out to measure and immediately I knew my project was in good hands. I was worried it was going to be just as expensive as the online quotes but was prepared to spend the money to finish my deck right. When the quote was half as much as the others I couldn't believe it. The install was fast and it looks like a million bucks!

Very professional, friendly, easy to work with, with competitive pricing. Stayed in touch all along the way. There was one snafu where the design wasn't fabricated properly the first time - CCI was very apologetic and the situation was remedied, although it did add a few weeks to the planned finish date. Mistakes happen, what's important is how the vendor responds and CCI responded expediently and completely, so it doesn't really affect my overall impression of the engagement. If there are any other subs involved, with CCI, it is up to the homeowner to manage that part of the project. For us, that was hardwood work. We were hoping to find someone who would manage the entire project, but this wasn't a big job, so wasn't a big deal to us.

They were completely non-responsive and I had to keep calling them (after giving them a 1/2 cost down payment. They were more than $4000 for a small townhouse. The railing did not come close to meeting where it was supposed to join at a bend. The bottom rail is already loose. Now I am having a good company come and re-do the railing.

The railing was exactly what we wanted and our experience with both Cory (sales) and Chris (installation) was excellent. Cory told us that it would take a month or so to build and prepare the railing so we were not concerned about the time. Everything went well and we got what we expected when we expected it at a reasonable price (lower than 2 other bids from Angie list companies). In fact since this looks so good we are thinking of installing another railing from CCI.

Cory came to house at appointment time and provided me with written estimate for all work at that time. The agreed upon work and price were acceptable to me at the time of this estimate so I gave deposit which was 1/2 of total cost. It took a couple of trips to the house by other workers to perform additional measurements after the estimate. I was told it would take 4-6 weeks to get the materials in and for the install to take place. It actually took 8 weeks for completion. Chris came out and installed all the items in 1 day and did a nice job. The reason I gave the company a and quot;Band quot; overall was because of the delay in completing the job and no paperwork was provided to me about the warranty on the products or their maintenance.

They were recommended by a friend of mine. My experience with them was pretty good. They did a good job. They installed everything. It took them a little longer, but it is because maybe a lot of people are ordering in the spring. The finished product is good. I had another estimate, but they had been lower than the other one.

Called Alan on a Monday and he scheduled me for Wednesday; he arrived promptly after a courtesy call when he was almost to my home.  He placed locks on each of my three window grates, he matched the color of the grates, and was then able to come inside and hook them - showed me how to open the locks from inside in case of an emergency.  He did the job quickly and was very professional.  I am pleased with the results and will definitely recommend him to neighbors or family friends.

Allen and Colorado Custom Iron Works are awesome!  Chris did our security door install and he was punctual and got the job done quickly.  He was also very nice to our Boston Terrier who is quite a handful!  The quality of the door, frame and locks are of the best quality I have seen.  Allen and Colorado Custom Iron Works will be the only company I will ever use in the future or recommend to others!

The experience was extremely unfortunate. It took them three times to come out to the house and then it took them three times of bringing it in to see it until it actually matched the window wells. I spent a lot of time at home waiting for them to not show up. They ultimately made it right but there were so many mistakes made along the way that it was frustrating. I would never use them again.
