We did a home loan through Cherry Creek Mortgage off of a referral from a friend's agent. Chris Zadra and his team did fine in the beginning. Then they started bragging about how they did the most loans in Colorado. From their it went down hill. Chris said he had all of these years of experience but he did not know how to handle a 401k loan payoff situation. After we were under contract, Chris said that maybe we should just wait and see if we can get another house in a couple months just to make it easier. He would come back with an answer about our situation and then come back and say he didn't know what to do and would have to check again. They confused us with another client and thus confused us. They had very poor follow through. It took about 2 weeks to get the appraisal done. All we heard was excuses like "it is what it is", "our hands are tied". Due to their mistake, we missed our closing date and it cost us money in lost wages. They offered nothing, not even an apology. It was business as usual for them. Our agent was really not impressed and had to step in several times to get them to respond to us. Chris had the nerve to get mad at me when I told him that I did not appreciate him not responding to us. I found that Chris would tell me one story and then tell my agent another story, so it seemed like he was not telling the truth. They made a mistake with our insurance company, but did not follow up with us until we reminded them. Other branches of Cherry Creek Mortgage may do a better job, but this one was really bad.
