Burt Kuni Honda

I have to go again. Overall rating - I would probably give them a “B” only because I had to wait a little bit longer than I anticipated. It took a little while. They advertise that it should take a certain amount of time. I think I even had an appointment. You have an appointment, you could be in and out in an hour, it was probably closer to 2. They could have done a better job there. It’s a busy place. They do a great job explaining everything. The car is definitely clean, they do a nice job.

Well, we had had problems with the battery before, under a warranty some parts had  been replaced but we still had a problem.  this time they replaced the battery which was not covered by the warranty but did not charge us for labor due to previous work done.  I think this was good faith and made us feel like they actually cared about the work provided.

I really like Burt Kuni Honda for service. They have gone above and beyond for me in the past. They are a great place to take your car for recall issues. I will say that they are expensive. They are a dealership, that is what i would expect. The people are friendly, and the work has always been high quality.

They are friendly and answer our questions. The price was what we expected, I guess.

Experience buying a certified used vehicle from Kuni was very good, however when we tried to have some repairs completed under the vehicle warranty our experience with Kuni became terrible. Service staff was very rude and unresponsive. We ended up driving across town to another Honda dealership to have work the completed (no problems at the other dealership - positive experience). As this was the fourth Honda we've owned, and the first time we've ever experienced such terrible service from a Honda dealership, it was an unfortunate surprise. We sent emails to the general manager at Kuni Honda in an attempt to resolve our complaints, but he never even bothered to reply. After about a year of this, we were tired of driving across town for service, so we traded the Honda in to the Go Nissan dealership right next door to Kuni Honda (Nissan has been great to work with). We've never had any problems with Honda before, and still think very highly of their cars. We've had nothing but positive experiences at other Honda dealerships, and were completely shocked by the rudeness and lack of service at Kuni. Wouldn't go back to Kuni Honda again for anything.

They were timely and professional. They were also easy to use. I haven't found a Honda mechanic that has a lower labor rate or that is as good. You only really talk to the service writer. They are very professional and well-trained. They are expensive. I plan to use them until I can find somebody who is as professional with a lower labor rate.

on this visit they performed a 90,000 mile service, multi point inspection and removed my snow tires and mounted and balanced my summer tires...this visit covered a laundry list of things to check, fluids, brakes...so it was a more expensive visit.

We bought this vehicle at Burt-Kuni and we have done all our maintenance servicing there. I am sure that we would pay less for their services if we went elsewhere. (They have "coupons," but I noticed once that the regular price of service was the same listed on a "coupon" specifically created to bring in customers for that service.) In any case, I am sure I could do better price wise, but I think that I pay for the convenience (the fact that I can drive up to the service garage without an appointment and get my car serviced pretty quickly) AND for the state-of-the-art waiting room. As a stay-at-home mom with 3 (almost 4 children), I usually have at least one child with me and the waiting room makes it less painful to sit and wait. The staff is always professional and courteous. If I have any gripes, it's that for a few years my minivan always felt "out of alignment" (which I complained about frequently and was corrected finally by the change in the van's computer program) and the brakes seemed not to perform as desired (now hopefully corrected by the second recall). I am sure the mechanics are as experienced as I could hope for, but if they see customers coming in with the same complaints, maybe they should be making inquiries at the corporate level instead of waiting for corporate to issue official recalls with repair directions.

We get our regular tune ups and oil changes done here, and we've also bought new tires here as well. I don't know that we've had any unusual kind of things done, but they have been very good with the routine maintenance. They are up front with what it is going to cost, and very seldomly does it vary from what they estimate, and they don't try to sell you unnecessary services. They are pretty good as far as estimating the time that the work will take. They also have a shuttle service that will take you home and will come back and pick you up if your car is going to take more than an hour or so.

They where very friendly when we had gone in there to get the work done. They where very professional about the job. They had the car done when we needed it back.

This is the first time we purchased a vehicle from them and our experience was so good that we plan on doing it again. My husband test drove the car and then later I came to test drive it. I feel that they gave us a good deal. The salesman explained all the bells and whistles to us and answered all of our questions. He went above and beyond because he delivered it to us after we purchased it. They give great customer service!

The people here are insanely nice. Service has been fantastic and fast. There's a great waiting room with coffee, food, TV, a fax and computer and couches. There's a shuttle for you if you have to leave your car, etc. The draw here is really the people. Honest, nice, patient. We've had nothing but good experiences here!

I have been using this company for 3 years. They are very friendly, offer a thorough explanation, and complete tasks in a timely manner. They charge the standard fees in comparison to other dealerships. One marketing offer which they provided me was a $500 card for the use in service repairs for a calendar year. Each time I used the card, they would take a percentage of the repair costs off my card. I was able to save $500 for the year.
