There were no surprises, no delay, no problems. It went as well as one could want. As for dos and don'ts - my advice is my usual:ad-monition for dealing with all contractors; communicate exactly what you want, as well as what you do not want. I've not done it myself in the recent past, but it just occurred to me that it would be a good idea in dealing with anyone you hire to do a job to write down and make a copy (for you to keep) of exactly what you want and expect, even if you don't have a formal contract but are hiring someone on an hourly basis or for a specific small job. My former husband was an excellent electrical and general contractor, and that was always something he suggested to his customers. You and the contractor should both initial the list. Back to Bon, he is extremely professional and I did not have any communication difficulties with him, nor has Joyce, or Lollie, two of my neighbors who have had him do extensivework for them..
Description of Work: Bon did some repair and adjustment work on an expensive double front door installation that had been poorly done by the original installer. He also painted the exterior of the doors, but not the interior, as the installer had yet to return to install the wooden trim molding and to fix the weather-proof insulatiion molding. I definitely will use Bon again for any type of repair and/or construction work to be done at my house. I''ll be calling him this week to repair gutters that were damaged by a neighbor's flying trampoline in a recent ferocious wind storm. My neighbor had him repair hers a couple of weeks ago as our HOA has not been responsive as yet. She had originally recommended him to me a few years ago. Give him a try - you won't be disappointed.
