Our design team actively listens to clients' needs and designs cabinetry based upon those conversations. This process includes closely reviewing all drawings and product specifications with the customer, ensuring the customer agrees with the design prior to finalizing the order. Although your cabinetry was ordered correctly according to the final design drawings, which were also approved by your interior designer, we listened to your concerns and ordered the new cabinet you desired at no cost to you. The production and delivery of a new cabinet takes extra time, as does scheduling for the installation. In the end, we hoped to make it right for you. We apologize that this was not the case."

"It is unfortunate that the BKC designer on this project did make a career change as this project was nearing completion. I quickly stepped in and communicated directly with this customer to expedite completion of BKC’s remaining work. BKC’s service manager also was communicating and involved to complete all remaining work in a timely manner. While I had communicated with this customer about their project close-out, I never received any word from them regarding the subsequent water damage to their cabinets. While our team is normally very responsive to customer requests, I did email the customer and apologize in the event our staff did not properly respond to her inquiries. I also asked for additional clarification from this customer so I could address any service lapses that may have occurred, however, I have not received any reply. BKC and Medallion Cabinetry warranties are very extensive in terms of covering product defects. Unfortunately, as is typical in our industry, product damage that occurs in the home, and is no fault of ours, is not covered. We have assisted customers in the past that had water damage, but the cost of this work was covered by the homeowner or their insurance company. Customer service is our top priority at BKC. "I spoke with [member name removed] today to solicit additional feedback regarding his comments. I also offered my apology that there was not the follow-up that he felt was warranted after the completion of his project. At BKC we always strive to achieve the best customer service in the industry. Unfortunately, the designer on this project moved out of state shortly after this project’s completion and BKC management was not made aware of [member name removed] sink issue. We refer contractors that have demonstrated high quality work and a track record of positive customer service results. It always remains the homeowner’s responsibility to interview contractors to make sure that they are a good fit for their project. In addition, it is the homeowner’s responsibility to manage their general contractor during their project. We will certainly consider this customer’s feedback as we continuously evaluate the service level of each contractor that we refer. Customer service at BKC is our top priority.
