The roofing job was done with Conrad and two workers. It was completed in five days. Cost 9k labor and material. There were two layers of es to strip, and then some redecking needed before the new shingles could be applied. Conrad recommended Ice and water barrier around the edges and heavier felt paper. There were multiple valleys and each was flashed and woven. The bathroom remodel entailed installing a new tub and vanity, tiling the floor and replacing the lights and exhaust fan. Conrad had one helper and took 5 days. There was a work stoppage for one day due to a broken toilet flage, that had caused leakage in the floor. Conrad communicated to me right away, and the next day I met with him on the job site where he showed me the problem, and we discussed a couple of choices for a solution, and their potential cost, time and results. In the end he cut back the sub floor and replaced the rotten piece. I appreciated his prompt attention to the matter and giving me a chance to be aware of the problem rather than some workers who would have just covered up the problem. The other thing I appreciated was how clean Conrad was a t the work site. The roof was done on a rental property and Conrad was careful to pick up the job site EVERYDAY. Unlike any contractor that has ever done work for us.
