He made the changes immediately. In addition, while he was there he looked at my AC system. He recommended a cleanup on the outside compressor due to cottonwood tree debris. He took before and after pictures as well as evaporator pressure and temperature readings before and after. They all showed a dramatic improvement as a result of the cleaning. In addition, Tim moved my water heater and installed an extension for the exhaust vent. The move allowed for easier access to my service room. He did not charge me for moving the water heater and extending the exhaust vent. I'm going to call Tim again once I finish moving in so that he can clean my evaporator coils inside the furnace. I highly recommend this company for a fast response and professional service. My original plan would have cost a lot more. Not only did he save me money on a better solution, he cleaned my outside AC compressor unit for less than what I would have spent on the more expensive solution (to move the floor vent).

I got Tim Stephens name and a recommendation from a neighbor.  She explained that Tim has been in doing this work for 30 years.  I also learned that in the beginning of 2013, Tim decided to start a new company devoted to just Heating and Cooling.  My air conditioner shut down and I planned to replace it as it was too old to invest in fixing it.   Still, since there were no reviews about the company, I was still a little nervous.
 
I could not have been more pleased with my visit from ATS Mechanical.  Owner and chief mechanic Tim Stephens  was about to leave town for a few days and wanted to see me before he left as the heat was pretty intense at that time.  He asked if he could look at the AC unit, as he felt he could probably get it up and running quickly without costing much.  After several sweltering days iwt sounded like a good idea to try.  We could talk about a replacement when he returns.  He was extremely professional and used more instruments and gages than I could have imagined.  Within a few minutes he diagnosed the problem and informed me that it needed some refrigerant and told me how much that would cost- which was much less than I expected!  In fact, he did a great job and a very reasonable price.  He also taught me what to do if a few different problems popped up.   Before leaving he gave me his cell number and told me to call if there were any problems at all? even though he would be gone, he would have his assistant come back to fix it.  No problems surfaced that night.  In the morning he called to check to see if I?d had any trouble, but the  AC was (and is) still working perfectly.  I can?t tell you how delighted I am to have cool air in this heat wave!
 
It would have been so easy for ATS to tell me all sorts of things were wrong, but he proved himself to be very caring and honest.  I feel lucky to have found him?  and he?s now my GO-TO-GUY for heating and cooling.
