COOMBS HEATING & AIR

We feared the worst with our 21 year old air conditioning unit when it quit in the midst of the 90 degree summer days.  Mr. Coombs was able to schedule a service call within 2 days of our contacting him (we are first-time customers).  It's a father-son business; the junior Coombs showed up within the scheduled/expected time, efficiently diagnosed the problem(s), and set out to procure the needed parts.  It would've been a one-day job, except the closest supply warehouse didn't have one of the parts.  He promptly called to let us know that he'd return the second day, after going to the more distant supplier.  The young Mr. Coombs returned as promised, and efficiently completed the repair.  He was friendly and professional throughout.

He was on time, cordial, explained everything including how the line is pressured and the right prices on R-22.  He was honest and worked hard.  After the initial quote, he actually discounted it at the end by $50, not only was he about $100 less than the others who wanted to charge up to $100 just to show up, he went above and beyond.
I got his name from a friend of mine who uses him.
I would highly recommend him and will use him again-  very impressed and not sure why there would be any negative reviews-
