We still have a long way to go until it's finished. However, he does great work and is anal about doing things correctly...what you want in a builder. If you want him to do a barn, get in line because his expert services are in demand and I think he's already booked for about 6 months or more but believe me....it's worth the wait to have Mike and his boys build your barn.

Mike Yutzy was my contractor and he came to give me a bid and to measure. He was extremely helpful through the entire process. Put them on top of the list.

The work went very well and we were extremely pleased overall.
The crew was punctual and very responsive to our needs and some changes as the job proceeded.
They cleaned up completely at the end of the day, including using plastic to close off the area to help keep our cats out of the construction and finishing area.
The job would have finished within a couple of days of the promised schedule, except for the custom frameless shower door being delivered and installed late. Not really Homestead's fault.
The tile work was custom and detailed. It also included glass tile accents. This was new to the tiler, so it took longer than planned and a couple of things needed to be redone. But this was all done without complaint and within schedule/budget.

The work was excellent. The people are excellent, did a good job, and did it timely. I would certainly include them for an estimate, absolutely.

Mike and his sons pay very close attention to detail and it shows after the projects are complete. Mike explained any issues with me and how he would resolve them. They responded to me promptly when I had any questions and would accomodate any new projects I had. I have never hired a contractor before and was honestly very nervous to find someone to initially work on my roof. His company is the only one I would work with after all the projects I have hired them for.

It was rough. The stone fireplace was our first project which went very well. The porch and the enclosed room had some issues. Some lacking attention to detail. Had an area where there was some wires or outlet that didn't look right. His solution was to put a plant in front of it. My husband ended up fixing it himself. Some outlets were placed areas that would have not passed inspection. It has been a couple of years so I don't remember all the details. I was not a member of Angie's List back then.

Estimate was done promptly. project started and ended on time. Project completed in a timley manner. Both Mike and Josh were very accomodating and easy to work with. Area and house was kept clean and tidy throughout entire project.
