When Troy came out for the estimate, he pointed out several problems that had caused problems with the paint (loose gutters, mold, loose nails in siding). He fixed these items and prepped very thoroughly before painting. The job took longer than estimated due to weather delays. The result was worth the wait. It was refreshing to see someone who takes pride in their work. Troy paid attention to details, even painting the gas main gray instead of the house color. He was pleasant to work with, was patient with all of my questions and followed through with what he said he would do. We appreciated his advice for some house maintenance items that would extend the life of the paint job.

We sent RFP's for this work to a number of potential contractors, of whom three responded. Illusions was the low bidder and we also qualified them by reference check. They were very responsive, had the most professional presentation in response to our RFP and brought the KWAL Paint rep with them when making the contract award visit, since KWAL backs the warranty. They also provided the best guarantee for their work. We were please enough with the bid that we recommended that our "sister" HOA also contact them for a bid for their work, which was more extensive than ours, and they received that award as well. With that work actually being done before ours. The work was done as promised and on a timely basis, they kept everyone informed of the progress and posted regular notices for the residents to keep them informed as well. We were very pleased with their work and would recommend them to anyone needing painting work done. The also do interior as well as exterior painting.
