EVERGREEN LANDSCAPE & LAWN SERVICE

First we had weather issues.  It rained and made clay removal and rototilling difficult.  Kept hearing "we look at the weather be back in a few days". I actually covered the yard in plastic to keep dry so Evergreen would come back.  Contract said 15 yards of compost to be added and 5 yards of sand.  I don't believe it was more thatn 5 of compost and 2 of sand.  When the sod was delivered it was uncovered and dried out. I complained to the Turfmaster farm driver, he was unresponsive.  I told Marvin and he ignored my complaint.  I called him on at least 3 occasions to have him come and look at the sod, he said "I come by later to look" never did. Never checked back with me.  I have 4 rolls of sod that have barely any green in them after 6 WEEKS.  I called to complain, he didnt pick up when I called.  When he returned the call he used profane language and was completely unprofessional.  I watered this sod 3 times a day for 6 weeks, giving me horrendous water bills and it's not his or his suppliers fault. 

I called for an estimate, and he said he would stop by the next day. Not having heard from him, I called again. He had not stopped by, but said he would send someone to cut the lawn, and that did happen. He also gave me an estimate based upon my verbal description of the lawn. I called again and we scheduled a certain day and time each week for someone to return. No one ever showed up. None of my 3 subsequent phone calls were returned. Fortunately, I wasn't billed.

He works very hard and I have never had a problem. He makes sure everything is spotless before he leaves and he is very dependable, always arriving on time and finishing the work promptly.

The rock and soil was off-loaded and the soil was distributed to various places on my property where soil needed to be added to improve drainage. The rock was then distributed and spread to other existing rock-covered areas where additional rock was needed for adequate coverage. The new, mixed rock matched the existing rock perfectly, and I was well-pleased with the overall job.
