The company is owned by David Hammer and Lee Sentner. I called them last week and asked if they could come out and clear the hillside before July 4th. I was leaving for 2 weeks and wanted the vegetation cleared due to the high fire danger that is present. I was told they would be there on the 7/3 @ 10-10:30 A.M. since they would be working in the neighborhood that day. On 7/3, a half an hour before they are to start working on my hillside, one of them comes up to me and says they can't make it due to one of them having to meet with their tax accountant and could they reschedule for next week. I was non-plussed. I needed this work done for the safety of my house. I consider this highly unprofessional in that they didn't immediately notify me of the schedule conflict so that I could try to retain another company to get the work done. This is a serious flaw in customer service as far as I am concerned and I will not use them again. I have been a "once in a while" customer of theirs and the work in the past had been less than adequate since they damaged a few shrubs and aspen trees with the weedeater in my front yard. I called them this time because I knew there was nothing they could damage on the hillside. What a mistake...
