Modern Renovations

iProvider (Jeremy Watcott) was a consume liar in terms of start date. It took me 3 weeks of harassing the guy to get him to start the job. He routinely delayed and was not punctual with his crew showing up when he said they would. He wrote a rather "loose" bid after meeting with him and giving him details on what I wanted in the remodel. I had to get him to re-submit the bid as it left out a whole side of the home in terms of describing what services would be provided. His technically good and nice hispanic crew from NM. did 90% of the work. They had no problem using my tools (evidently Jeremy doesn't provide them any other than the raw materials), my bathroom, my yard as a temporary dump (definitely not the best on clean-up or being kind to the property. They put nails thru the walls into the house interior on 2 occasions. I had to catch mistakes and point them out to the crew because Jeremy could not relay the information I gave to him (he obviously never wrote it down and it was not on the bid). The crew beat the crap out of my new trim/soffit paint job that Jeremy told me to do BEFORE they started. And for the grand FINALE!!! - I told him I had to leave town for a week toward the end of the job (that he said would take 1-week once they got on it, it took over 3 weeks!), and he wanted most of the remaining balance of the job. I paid him minus $1,000. and I've not heard from him since. The job was not finished (several pieces of exterior trim were left undone and I had to buy/install them myself). So, I guess he gave me a discount because he's rather inept as a business man and I think I basically called him on it.
