DURANGO TRANSPORTATION INC

The weather had turned nasty as a bitter cold front had set in with sub-zero temperatures. By 8:00 PM over 20 people were assembled at our "drop-off" point to catch a return shuttle. Some complained they had not seen a single shuttle and had been waiting over an hour. At 8:30 PM a small mini-van arrived and the driver announced "I can only pick up the party of 6 that called us." The 6 stepped forward immediately and entered the minivan, complaining about their long wait in the cold. The rest of us asked "Where are the other vans?" He said, "Our BIG van is at the airport. Another is transporting some 'personals'." 18 of us had to wait. Several caught rides with other guests. Calls were made to the dispatcher. After another hour in the cold with small kids, the 2nd van finally arrived after 9:30. Don the driver announced, "We can't keep coming out here! We can only come when there are 15 to transport!" The remaining 12 boarded the van and dared him to kick us off!
