Durango Shade Company

We have large, high windows in the great room of our new Durango home. They face generally south and east, so the morning sun comes blasting in. We needed shade but did not want to spoil the beautiful view we enjoy so much. Enter Durango Shade Company. Marlin is the owner. He came out promptly when I called, and gave us several great options for solar shades. He knows his product line thoroughly, and was very informative about the pros and cons of each product. He helped us choose the perfect window shades, and even talked us out of going with the far more expensive motorized version because he did not think we needed it. He was right! We could not be more pleased with how this project turned out. The shades are beautiful and do exactly what we want them to: keep out the heat and excess light, but let in the view. They pretty much "disappear" when they are rolled up.Marlin did the installation himself, and his service was punctual and completely professional. The company has a large selection of blinds and window coverings of all types. Bonus: Marlin donates a share of his proceeds to the local charity of your choice.  He is the epitome of a responsible, responsive and professional small business owner.   I will not use anyone else in this area for window coverings.   Durango Shade Company should be on the Page of Happiness!
