adept concrete aka brothers concrete received the 2nd. draw under the pretense that the work was done. he vanished, todd j rector vanished never to show up again. upon routine work other sub contractors found that 1. he poured piers not to code and 2. never scheduled a state inspection. i called the state inspector who red tagged the piers. it cost me around $1000.00 to get things fixed so i could proceed with my re model. todd j rector refused to return calls, screened his calls and simply vanishd. he continues to do business in durango colorado under assumed names. all his invoices and estimates submitted have different fictious addresses. he handed out business cards with falsified records. after my remodel was complete i filed in small claim court and he never showed up. the sheriffs offices in bayfield and durango just could not locate him. he did show up at the sheriffs office in durango to sign for the papers i had filed in the court. i sent out 20 envelopes yesterday with 20 different addresses for todd j rector with judgment received from court in my favor and a letter requesting he pay me back the judgment amount. i will keep pursuing in legal professional manner to collect my judgment amount no matter how long it takes. my aim? so he never does this again. i cannot stop a sub contractor but i can do my part to hinder him. it is sad he continues to do work and i have a piece of paper with a judgment amount i am finding hard to collect. why he hides from his clients? what does he have to hide? (more judgments?) why does he have so many fictious addresses? why is brothers concrete not listed anywhere? why did he change adept concrete? why? so many why? how is he getting any business after he pulled what he did at my home? why did he not show up to prove his case? the date was set by todd j rector himself, the court date.
