Do not hire West Side Sprinkler for any project.  In 2016, I hired West Side Sprinkler to remove a coy pond, build a path, reduce lawn and replace with fabric, edging, mulch.  My work was such that I was not able to monitor their work and had to rely on their integrity to do the work properly.  HUGE mistake.  The poor quality of their work was discovered over time.  West Side Sprinkler cheated me by the lousy job they did and did not even finish the job as contracted.  The issues began with them not returning calls and not showing up to finish the work.  Later, grass/weeds began to pop up in the rock areas where they "reduced" lawn.  What I discovered was patches of earth that were not covered with fabric, just rock.  The same thing occurred with the path, in addition, there were two "mushroom" drain caps that were improperly installed, nothing there but the cap covers, they would not operate as West Side placed them.  I contracted a reputable landscape company recently to install a patio where the coy pond was supposedly removed by West Side, and to build a retaining wall, a large planter, etc.   and that is when I discovered West Side simply covered the coy pond with a layer of dirt.  I spent several days digging out the rotted lumber used to build the pond, plywood, the pond's bladder, twenty cinderblock, and other construction trash.  Then using fill dirt and a compactor, I was able to properly prepare the area for the new patio. I was given the use of the compactor by my current landscaper and there was no additional charge for borrowing their compactor.  All that work I did to properly prepare the ground for the patio was contracted to be done by West Side, that is what I paid for, and that is why I can say West Side cheated me and essentially stole money from me.  In addition, West Side has no work ethic, integrity, or honesty, and should not be doing any landscape jobs.

The only thing I can add to the above is a request to always shut the back gate when leaving, as I have a dog (who went next door to play with some little girls).

Mr. Capiletti installed a sprinkler system for me in 2002. He has been quick to respond whenever he has been needed (whenever the dog dug up the lines, or the lawn mower took out a sprinkler head). His work is excellent.
