Urban Design Floors

My experience with this contractor was the WORST imaginable.  Inferior workmanship, much damage to my walls, kitchen cabinets and baseboards (in reinstalling), didn't clean up sawdust, left expensive bathroom sink with super glue all over the handles and drain, there is still superglue on the hardwood transition piece between the hall and bathroom, and last but not least, damaged the new floors with the heavy mirrored sliding closet doors while reinstalling upon completion.

Also, contractor repeatedly wanted to dispose of old flooring by throwing outside the 2nd story window even though I advised he would be fined for this by the HOA.  Contractor removed one of the screens in the bedroom window and I will have to purchase a new one this summer as he damaged it in removing it (he was actually getting ready to start throwing things out the window!).

All in all nothing was good about this and the contractor had the audacity to refuse responsibility for the inferior experience and tried to insist that I myself had actually been involved in the damage.  Contractor also claimed that my movers (I had to move my furniture out of my condo) did the damage.  HOWEVER, it can be verified by the movers that I required they properly cover the new flooring with moving blankets before moving anything back into the condo. 

Contractor had to come back and finish after the move-in due the fact he failed to order enough wood to complete the job as scheduled and he had to come back to finish after I moved back in.

There is more, and if someone wants to hear about this you are welcome to call me.  This contractor does NOT belong on Angie's List.  He is arrogant, stubborn and most certainly the most unprofessional experience I have ever had.
