Up The Wall

This is the second time we've used Kirk in our business. He is prompt, fast, efficient and extremely talented at what he does. He's very straight-forward about his work and leaves no room for guessing. The wall looks brand new! He does clean, professional work; no messes or problems to worry about after he leaves.

Kirk was efficient, timely and knew his stuff. The job went well and he is a friendly, trustworthy guy. Highly recommended.

Kirk was attention, attention, attention to detail! He carefully wrapped our panoramic x-ray machine twice to avoid dust and also put plastic drapes in place to keep dust from entering rest of area, office. He was respectful concerning noise level around patients. He was punctual, honest, straightforward, professional, and courteous. We had complete confidence in him. The finished wall looked better than the original wall! We will be using Kirk in our home(s). He is worth every penny. Don't look any further, call him now!

Top notch work. Matched texture perfect. No one would ever know there were ever a dozen holes in the wall. I would hire Kirk in a second.

Kirk was a lifesaver. We are selling the house and another inspection was scheduled for 2 days after the chewing incident so I needed the trim replaced right away. Other contractors told me they wouldn't be able to get to it for a week or more, but Kirk offered to come over the next day on a Saturday. He gave me prep instructions so the process would go faster the next day and was extremely helpful in answering my questions and concerns about matching the existing trim. He arrived promptly in the morning and got right to work. He worked quickly and was very friendly. The end result looks great, very professional. I will definitely hire Kirk again for any other projects!

He was punctual professional really well priced. Extremely friendly and knowledgable about house repair. I will definitely be using him in the future.

Kirk did a great job hanging a new drywall ceiling and mudding it in to blend with plaster walls, and matching the texture

Kirk's estimate was spot on and he did high quality work. He fixed several holes in the ceiling to finish a bathroom fan installation, and was able to match the new texture with the old. He also fixed a few old, poorly patched spots in the wall and painted the entire room so it would all match  - the bathroom looks brand new.  He was also meticulous with the clean up. Highly recommended.

Never any problems...  pick your colors and forget about it.  :) 

I highly recommend Kirk who did a fantastic job painting and few handyman works in my house. I am very particular with how I would like things in my house. Kirk really listened to my needs and went out of his way to come up with solutions to help me achieve what I needed, as though it was his own house. As for the quality of the work done, Kirk was detailed. He cleaned up well and returned everything back to its original position; trash went to the trash area. He was prompt and considerate. I am very pleased and more importantly, relieved to have found him, and will definitely use him again

We have used Kirk on numerous occasions and have no reservation in recommending him to others. 

The first time we used Kirk was during an emergency.. renter called and said the downstairs bathroom had a bad leak in the ceiling...  we had a plumber go over to take a look and repair.  In the process of repairing the leak, the plumber took out large chunks of the ceiling and wall with a claw hammer.  The bathroom was a mess...  We called Kirk (off Angie's List) looking for someone to do the drywall and paint repairs as soon as possible...  It just so happened that Kirk was available 2 days later.  

Did we luck out...  the bathroom was repaired perfectly.  And this was not the easiest job - three way points, soffit, lots of odd corners...  kirk was meticulous in his work.  

Since then, he has painted bathrooms, living rooms, bedrooms, kitchen... removed cabinets, moved lighting fixtures and mirrors so they are centered perfectly over a sink, repaired drywall...    

And not only has he shown us excellent workmanship... but he is a nice guy and so pleasant to work with.  Top of our list.   

Kirk came the day before to give an estimate and returned the next afternoon to do the job. He worked very efficiently and started by covering the area with plastic so that everything did not get covered with dust. He cut down the wall to counter height, made sure everything was level and patched the drywall where needed. He cleaned up and left. I have to say I was impressed because he completed the job even though he wasn't feeling well.

Kirk Winter did a wonderful job. He was on time, very clean, very personable and polite. The quality of his work was perfect -- we can't tell that there ever was water damage in the bathrooms. His prices are very reasonable and he was very easy to work with. We always knew when he would be coming and going. We would enthusiastically recommend his work!

Kirk arrived on time, and spent the day patching in drywall, primer, mud, and paint. Kirk also helped me during day, while mud was drying, in repairing a bathroom vanity, installing a ceiling light fixture, and odds and ends repairs. I was very pleased with his help.

Mr. Winter did a great job. I would definitely use him again.

Very well.  Kirk is a real gentleman and a meticulous painter.  I did a lot of the prep work to save time.  The 1954 porch had 6 layers of paint and some rotted pieces.  Kirk did a great job replacing the rotted pieces and patching a crack in the ceiling.  The porch looks great and so do the doors. It took him 2 days.   Kirk has lots of experience and knowledge.  He is very clean and polite.   I appreciated his mellow temperment. 

Very punctual, quality work, excellent price for work and time done.  Fair price, stated up front.  NO "CREW" that shows up at your door- Kirk does the work himself.  Very nice guy, could be your next door neighbor.  I am very tired of talking to a business owner who says he can do this and that and then a couple of young dudes show up to do the work - who you have never met before.  That is not Kirk and his "Up the Wall" business.

Was very meticulous and punctual

Kirk did a great job.  I had a large number of drywall holes (over 20!) that needed to be repaired from having my pipes replaced and my whole basement painted.  He did a great job on all of them including one where the plumber left a non-standard finish to my washing machine connections.  He was able to work in some additional work i needed and did a great job suggesting and completing some extra finishing touches i wouldn't have thought of.  I plan on having him back for additional work!

Kirk did an exceptional job of repairing our wall an was able to match the texture  to make the repair invisible.  He was considerate by calling in advance to make arrangements, prompt, fast, and excellent clean up.
This experience was great! Kirk not only knew what he was doing, he was upfront on all accounts-there were no surprises or hidden fees.
I have already given his name to a friend and will recommend him in the future.
