I first hired Joe 16 years ago to work for me here in Maine while he was still living here. He did astoundingly careful and professional work at a very fair price. I was so impressed that I tracked him down in CO, where he had moved. In 2020, I paid for him to fly to ME and he once again performed miracles. I allowed him to stay in my 2 bedroom Airbnb cabin for free and use my car. He has (had) a certain artistry with old plaster walls. In 2021, he drove from CO--we agreed that it would be much easier if he had his truck. Again, he did an amazing job. Again, I allowed him to stay in my Airbnb cabin for free. I asked him to come again this year (2022). He agreed, but only if I paid him double the previous amount, and only if I paid for his 18 year old niece to come with him. I agreed, because of the quality of his work. And, I thought, we were friends. We agreed by text that he would complete three rooms in 6 or 7 days (as needed), or let me know early on if this wasn't possible. I bought them plane tickets, picked them up at the airport, gave them my car (I only have one car and was stranded without it) and my Airbnb cabin, which is 20 miles from the house in question. I made arrangements for him to rent a car in Bangor to drive to Syracuse after leaving me. In short, I bent over backwards. I don't know what has happened to Joe. Early onset dementia? Some kind of physical deterioration? He worked at a snail's pace, completing one room in 5 days. I thought the niece was supposed to be an assistant and things would move along quickly with her, but she was rarely in evidence. He unexpectedly announced that he was only working for 6 days, although he planned to stay in my cabin for 9 nights. At the end of 3 days, he announced that he was taking a day off to go sightseeing, using my car. A little presumptuous of him, but OK--he can schedule his own time; he's a professional. Besides, he had always finished what he said he was going to. At the end of 5 days, one room was completed, the second about half completed, and the third untouched. When I pressed him on this, he flew into a rage and said he was quitting because he didn't like my "sarcasm". Very weird. I convinced him to finish the second room, and he did. With huge reluctance, I paid him (and his dead-beat niece) the full amount. And then kicked them out of my cabin and recovered my car. I had earlier agreed to let them use my car for another full day of sightseeing at the end--and I stuck to this end of the bargain; not sure why. I'm a sucker, I guess. I feel sorry for him. Something is definitely going on. I was left with a dissembled room of dropclothes and plaster dust. Luckily, I was able to quickly locate a local crew to undertake the work on this room, at a very reasonable price. Phew! Left high and dry, as they say. SUMMARY: Joe has done excellent work in the past. I'm not sure he is up to the task of timely, excellent work now--he seems impaired and his communication and organizational skills have definitely deteriorated. I wish I had known.

Doing an upgrade of a rental condo that I own but, unfortunately, was in a bit of disrepair. Contacted Trevino Custom Drywall to get things moving and to handle the repairs. Contacted owner, Joe Trevino who came immediately to inspect. He provided a quote for the work that same evening which was a very fair price. We agreed that work would begin in a few weeks which it did. When completed, work was excellent. Joe also was very easy to contact and was very responsive. Will be using him again in the near future.

Trevino did an amazing job building up the wall so that it met with the ceiling. You couldn't even tell where the wall stopped when he was done with it. He even cleaned up the mess after he was done with the job. My wife and I couldn't have been happier with the job. We will definitely hire him again for other projects in the future.

Everything was great! Joe was there before our scheduled time, is so nice and did a fabulous job! Highly recommend Joe .

Joe is a very professional owner and has plenty of experience. The project went very well and he came out and completed the work and it looks better than it looked since the start. Would recommend Joe to anyone that needs drywall, texturing and or painting. Completely satisfied.

AMAZING! Joe called me first thing in the morning, after submitting my request. He fit us in after another job he was doing and was here by 3:00pm the SAME DAY! He is a true artist and you cannot even tell where our original wall and the repair. His quote was also below others we received (from other sources). He is a nice guy, too! We highly recommend Joe!

Joe came in did work in timely manor! I was happy with the work Price was reasonable I would call him again if the need arises!

He showed up right on time, went right to work on the walls and ceiling repairing and fixing things that were never fixed right when we got our new home from the move. He got the job done in a timely manner without taking a lot of breaks. I am so glad I was set up with this guy he does things the right way the first time, Now I love the way my new house looks again.

I would hire him again and probably will for some other jobs in my home. I bought a brand new house and was overwhelmed by all the painting that needed to be done. He contacted me immediately and came over right away to give me a quote which wound up being more than fair ! He started promptly and was very fast and thorough. We walked around each room in the end to make sure it was exactly how I wanted it , I have never encountered a contractor so willing to make sure I was happy with the end result. I was also telling him how I really wanted a reclaimed wood wall, I found the product at home depot and was very excited to see how it would turn out. Well a few hours later it was installed perfectly , I have never been so happy with remodeling project In my life. He has pictures of it and I am sure he would share them if you ask, and it is definitely worth the ask !!!!

Great! Joe did a fabulous job, explained everything, was able to begin promptly and finished without interruption. He gave me advice about repairing a part of the ceiling, and then completed all of the work at a competitive cost. He left paint for touching up if needed. Joe is easy to work with, and I highly recommend him.

Within minutes of contacting Joe he was already back in touch with me to schedule an estimate. He was here within a day to give us a fair price for painting our ceilings, walls, and baseboard. Within a couple days, he had already started and completed the project. Joe was the ultimate professional completing the project within the timeframe discussed for the price we agreed upon. He even went beyond my painting the baseboards. Everything we discussed was completed in a timely, neat, and professional fashion. An extra bonus was that Joe even moved the furniture back after completing the painting. With it being the holidays getting this project completed was a top priority and Joe was the only contractor I contacted who was able to do it immediately. We have a 20-year-old house in need of upcoming renovations and Joe will be my first call. The only regret I have is that I can’t give Joe a grade of greater than A. Joe was the ultimate professional, kept his word, and most important did an outstanding job that both my wife and I love. Thanks again Joe, we will be working together again soon.

Joe spent two days at our home and painted three rooms and a hallway. The work was exceptional and we were very pleased.

Joe Trevino is a true professional and does extremely quality work. After we told him what we wanted he explained exactly what he was going to do (which helps you understand the amount of materials he will need and then he does exactly what he said he will do including any add ons we asked for DURING the job. Your wont find a more quality job at such a fair price ANYWHERE. We are going to hire Joe again for a future project. You cant go wrong with this man.

Charged for 6 hrs. Only worked 3 hrs. Coating of stain on fence too thin. Missed too many spots. Rush job. Sprayed stain on gas killing it. Lost business in Colorado due too poor quality work. Beware seriously.

Joe is a really good guy who made this whole process very easy. Joe hung and taped 3 rooms in 2 days, and even managed to install a window for me. I was thrilled seeing the finished rooms. I received 3 quotes for this job and Joe was able to cut my the first quote in half with out sacrificing quality. I am still amazed how easy he made it look. I would recommend him to any one!!!
