I tried contacting other cleaning agencies, and I never got a response. We have been using them for 6 months. We got a flyer in the mail, and then we contacted them. They were last here 2 weeks ago. One person is the same, the other person varies and they have a manager who comes out to do random checks, and she helps if they need it, so that they can stay on schedule, which is good. They bring their own supplies and equipment, and they also get along with the dog.We haven't had a problem so far.

I have been a satisfied customer for nearly a year. The Cleaning Authority does a great job. They have a cleaning rotation system they use to deep clean alternate areas of the house each time as well as "normal" clean the whole house every time. I am especially pleased with Loretta. She is very thorough, excellent people skills, and really gets to know your house and you pets. I can't recommend her highly enough.

The Cleaning Authority is professional and courteous. They have always arrived as scheduled and have been very accommodating when the schedule requires changes. The cleaning service they provide is acceptable but lacks some attention pretty regularly. I do however feel the service is a major convenience for me and the benefits outweigh the lack of immaculate cleaning.

I have been using them for a long time. My experience with them was excellent! They're very responsive if there's something that's not right. Actually, I'm still using them. They don't charge by the hour, but by the job. They do an excellent job!

I think they send enough people to accomplish the job. What is wonderful is they work around my baby?s sleeping schedule. They are sensitive enough to work with my family?s needs.

The first detail cleans were very good. The house seemed cleaner and brighter. I was quite impressed with these cleans. However, after the first two cleans, the service went downhill. My first complaint to the cleaning authority was a room that was not vacuumed, I called the company and received the answering service. I told them that the master closet (which is the size of a room and not easy to miss) was not vacuumed. The answering service told me that either the owner or the quality control supervisor (I'm not sure of the exact title - it was something like this) would call me back. She called my home when I was at work and left a message with a number to call her back on. I returned her call twice and left a message twice and she never got back to me, Since it was just a master closet, I decided to let it go. The next time they cleaned the house, I noticed that our loft area had not been dusted or vacuumed. I called the answering service and they told me that someone would get back to me. She did call me back the next day and told me that she would send a crew over the next day to re-clean. The crew showed up and cleaned the forgotten area. The Cleaning Authority tells you that if they don't clean the area right the first time, that they will come back the next day and clean it. Well this sounds good on paper, but when you are a working person like I am, you can't even see the job they did until you get home. When I call, an answering service takes the call, so the it takes another day for the supervisor to arrange a crew and it is actually two days at least before someone comes and re-cleans. This is not the end of the story. The next clean, I was out of town and did not get back until Friday (the cleaning crew came on Tuesday). I had company coming to stay in our guest room. Well, I went to look at the guest bathroom and it had not been cleaned at all. I had to clean it so my guests would have a clean bathroom when they arrived. I was a little upset about this, but I did not call the cleaning authority until Monday as I knew I would get the answering service on the weekend. The owner returned my call this time and he did call my work number and actually spoke with me. I told him the story and all he could say was" I can't fix what I don't know about". Sure that is reasonable, but I don't think I should have to check work every time - and they missed an entire bathroom! He offered to perform the next clean at half price. Great - I took him up on it. However, the next two cleans were incomplete. They missed the master closet again and they missed mold and soap scum in the shower when they "detail-cleaned" the master bath. The overall cleaning jobs got progressively worse and the house never smelled clean like it did on the initial cleans. To top it off they left the door unlocked on my last clean. I cancelled after that. One positive thing - I have two dogs and the cleaners all seemed to treat them well.

The 2 initial cleanings went okay in general, but a few details were missed and the administrative side of things was not handled well. At first, the crew came first thing in the morning, as I asked, but after a few visits, they started coming later (they chose to do another housecleaning before mine). I had asked for a specific early morning time and no one ever notified me that the crew would be coming later. The crew that came was very nice and worked hard, but lacked professionalism. They were a little too friendly and familiar with me before they were here for very long. I like to be friendly with people working in my home, but it needs to be a professional relationship so the boundaries are not blurred. Also, the crew cleaned the things that they gave attention to very well most of the time, but sometimes things would be missed. For example, a few times they forgot to wipe down the kitchen counters so there were crumbs left on the counter, or the crumb tray in the toaster oven wasn't cleaned. Also, I asked for "green" cleaners, but Pine Sol was used a couple of times. Once there was a sticky residue left on the kitchen floor, and while I don't know what it was from, but I think the Pine Sol wasn't completely washed away. Other things were ignored altogether. They were supposed to clean the baseboards, but never did so. I felt like I needed to inspect the house every time they finished cleaning to be sure that nothing was missed.

After 5 cleanings and two complaint calls, they never touched the inside of the stove hood, or the kitchen baseboards. There were a few other things neglected, but these were the two most glaring. These should have had a thorough cleaning on the first visit, and also a subsequent visit. The rest of the cleaning was fair to good. I kept being promised that the two items mentioned would be addressed, but they were completely ignored. The manager was supposed to come to the house after the last complaint to make sure it had been taken care of, but it doesn't seem she did. I'll be looking for a new cleaning service.
