Sustainable Design Build

We worked with SBD for our pop top in the Berkeley neighborhood in Denver. We blew out a bedroom and expanded the kitchen on the main floor and added 3 beds and 2 baths on the new floor. We definitely recommend SDB. Derek walked us through the design process so patiently and helped us envision what we wanted and needed really before we even knew. We primarily worked with Josh (our PM), Luke, and Tommy and couldn’t have asked for a better team. Our interactions felt more than just transactional. They made us feel like no question was too small or insignificant. Most importantly, the quality of our home is wonderful and it’s well built. We are so happy with our new home. Our one critique is that we would have liked more expertise around making our home all electric and as green as possible. My husband (who works in solar) ended up doing a lot of the legwork for this. Otherwise, we were very happy. Thank you SDB! We appreciate you guys.

Being in the very early stages, we weren't sure about which direction to go with our home whether it would be a pop top and building a home addition or remodeling our whole house. Last October I had water damage occur at my home that I had just bought a month earlier. I was dissatisfied with my Insurance company and the contractor they recommended and I found Zach on Home Advisor's website. He immediately phoned me and made an appointment to come by. He spoke with my Insurance adjuster and before I knew it, the repairs had been approved and took just over a week. The crew showed up when they said they would, and the communication and respect was top notch from all at Sustainable Design. I could not be happier and more grateful.

Renovation to 3 bathroooms in under five weeks. Outcomes were amazing and they stayed on target budget. Can t say enough nice things about the team that did the physical work as well - polite, timely, and followed up on any tough up work that was needed.
