We actually know him personally but he's also part of Angie's List. He's awesome! He's punctual, on time, and I'm not telling that because he's a friend but he's very professional, has super products, and great installation. He did an awesome job. They ordered the windows and came in but subcontracted guys to come in and do the installation, and they did a perfect and great job. They are professional and great. He's so great. We got a wonderful landscaper and blew a little pebble into our plate glass window and the exterior was shattered and we had to had replaced. I called him and he's like awesome and he got right there. He's just reachable, approachable, do any job at any amount of money and any kind of window, and he was really good. They also do the Big Deal installations.

Bill was very responsive - even on a Saturday. He came to my home within an hour to help diagnose the problem. He took time to explain and show me what was happening and recommended services. I would highly recommend Summer Window Co and would absolutely utilize their services, if needed.

Only complaint was that, when the time expected for delivery of the windows came and went, I hadn't heard anything so felt the need to call back to see what was going on. Bill said the windows were in and apologized that he hadn't been quicker about calling to schedule a time for installation. We settled on a time and the windows were quickly installed without problem. Happy with the work. Would use again.

Bill was extremely thorough and professional with his evaluation of our older windows. He showed me some quick fixes and maintenance tips that I could perform myself going forward. He quoted a reasonable amount for the repair work and was willing to take on the small as well as the big problems. He even searched the web and local stores for a few random parts that my windows and door needed to be more airtight. I was very pleased with the quality of the work, and I was grateful to have an expert evaluate and update all of my windows. It is not easy to find someone who is willing to take on repair of older windows rather than urging straight replacement, but Bill tries to do what is best with cost in mind.

Unfortunately, everything about the sub-contractor was less than satisfactory in almost every way possible so I emailed Bill through Angie's List stating that I had concerns and he replied back that I was to contact him directly and he provided his phone number. I could not have asked for a more professional and kind response to my plea for help!!! While detailing the concerns on the phone, Bill listened patiently (not always an easy thing for a man to do when a woman is frustrated and maybe not as articulate as she could be) and kindly offered to come to my house with the sub-contractor at the next appointment. I was immensely relieved and from that moment my anxiety diminished and I felt confident that the replacement of my windows would be a quality job that I would be pleased with. True to his word, Bill stopped by not once but twice until the job was completed and made sure that everything was handled properly. There were a couple of other windows that I had debated on replacing. Bill inspected them and determined that the cloudiness just needed to be Windexed away. I appreciated his honesty and then he proceeded to apply Windex and paper towels to the two windows and voila, I had clean, clear windows. Even more than this, he saw that I had a broken handle on my patio door and he replaced that for me as well as doing some adjustments to the patio door screen. Oh, and then, as he was leaving through my front door, I mentioned that I needed to get some weatherstripping installed before winter and he proceeded to look the door and casing over really well and gave me some advice on how to make the repairs. Truly, what had been an enormously frustrating situation was turned into a pleasant situation with a 100% satisfactory ending!!! I will not hesitate for one moment to recommend Bill Myrick and Summer Windows to friends and neighbors! I was happy with this service and glad to have a new window. Although it took longer than a couple of weeks for the window to arrive, this was ok with me as I know these things happen in remodeling. Vernon installed the window and he assured me to contact him if anything need adjusting, etc. He was friendly and had a good attitude. He also was diligent in rescheduling the original install date to avoid all of the rainy weather we recently had. I would use them again.

As described above, the window in on order and I anticipate the double pain will be replaced without incident. Bill and Tim were helpful and prompt!! The glass door was shattered by accident by landscapers. I called several big name window vendors, non of were helpful or called back even though I explained the circumstance....I have a dog and kids and the tempered glass was starting to drop everywhere. I called Bill at Summer Window Co...he gave me the number of his glass guy, Tim and Tim called within 20 minutes. He stopped to get a sheet of wood to cover the door, which wasn't needed since only the outside pain shattered. He cleaned everything up, gave us a reasonable cost to replace the double pain and ordered it for us. We appreciated their wonderful service. I know who we'll use for our window replacement project coming up!

Most window companies have a separate person come in after they do the initial quote and separate person comes in and does the actual window measurement, but he did not have the second person come in and he save me cost by doing this. He has an engineering degree. He is very professional. He just started right away on measuring and telling what his recommendations were. His price is lower. He has been in business for years and he knows what he is doing.

We had an appointment Tuesday. He called Monday night and asked to delay the appointment until Wednesday. He never showed or called.

We had a few windows not performing as they should so I had them out for a consult and he did take some photos for part matching, was very quick on getting the parts located and purchased. The install was quick and done correct.

THE CREW HEADED BY TIM WAS EXCELLENT AND FINISHED THE JOB IN TWO DAYS (STAYED UNTIL 7:30 PM THE LAST DAY). WE HAD NO NEED TO BRING IN A CARPENTER OR PAINTER TO DO TOUCHUPS FOLLOWING THE INSTALLATION. Bill Myrick of Summer Window Co. promptly responded to my request and stopped by this morning to remove the window without any breakage so I can re-install it myself later. He strikes me as a straight-talking and personable professional. His firm is willing to do repairs as well as complete window replacement. This positive experience with Mr. Myrick pre-qualifies him as a bidder when I solicit bids to replace my windows later this year.

Mr. Bill Murick came to my house to do an inspection on a leaky kitchen window and a sliding glass door that we wanted to have checked out. He arrived at my home within the one hour time frame he provided and got right down to business. He was polite, social, knowledgeable and respectful of my home and property. He determined through inspection that my water damage was not at all due to my window leaking. The window was actually fine. He went way beyond what might have been expected of him in trying to help me determine the true source of the water damage. He crawled up in our attic, inspected the upstairs restroom for signs of water damage and even found a problem on our roof that was caused recently by our roofing company, that if left undetected would definitely cause new structural damage. He told me how to repair the problem on the roof , and recommended that I contact a man that he works with who could help me trace the path of the internal water damage so that we can make appropriate repairs. I would definitely recommend Bill Murick and his company Summer Window Co. to anyone I know and hope to be able to do business with him in the near future.
