We actually know him personally but he's also part of Angie's List. He's awesome! He's punctual, on time, and I'm not telling that because he's a friend but he's very professional, has super products, and great installation. He did an awesome job. They ordered the windows and came in but subcontracted guys to come in and do the installation, and they did a perfect and great job. They are professional and great. He's so great. We got a wonderful landscaper and blew a little pebble into our plate glass window and the exterior was shattered and we had to had replaced. I called him and he's like awesome and he got right there. He's just reachable, approachable, do any job at any amount of money and any kind of window, and he was really good. They also do the Big Deal installations.

Bill was very responsive - even on a Saturday.  He came to my home within an hour to help diagnose the problem.
He took time to explain and show me what was happening  and recommended services.  I would highly recommend Summer Window Co and would absolutely utilize their services, if needed.

Only complaint was that, when the time expected for delivery of the windows came and went, I hadn't heard anything so felt the need to call back to see what was going on. Bill said the windows were in and apologized that he hadn't been quicker about calling to schedule a time for installation. We settled on a time and the windows were quickly installed without problem.  Happy with the work.  Would use again.

Bill was extremely thorough and professional with his evaluation of our older windows.  He showed me some quick fixes and maintenance tips that I could perform myself going forward.  He quoted a reasonable amount for the repair work and was willing to take on the small as well as the big problems.  He even searched the web and local stores for a few random parts that my windows and door needed to be more airtight.  I was very pleased with the quality of the work, and I was grateful to have an expert evaluate and update all of my windows.  It is not easy to find someone who is willing to take on repair of older windows rather than urging straight replacement, but Bill tries to do what is best with cost in mind.

I was happy with this service and glad to have a new window.  Although it took longer than a couple of weeks for the window
to arrive, this was ok with me as I know these things happen in remodeling.  Vernon installed the window and he assured me to contact him if anything need adjusting, etc.  He was friendly and had a good attitude.  He also was diligent in rescheduling the original install date to avoid all of the rainy weather we recently had. I would use them again.

As described above, the window in on order and I anticipate the double pain will be replaced without incident. Bill and Tim were helpful and prompt!! The glass door was shattered by accident by landscapers. I called several big name window vendors, non of were helpful or called back even though I explained the circumstance....I have a dog and kids and the tempered glass was starting to drop everywhere. I called Bill at Summer Window Co...he gave me the number of his glass guy, Tim and Tim called within 20 minutes. He stopped to get a sheet of wood to cover the door, which wasn't needed since only the outside pain shattered. He cleaned everything up, gave us a reasonable cost to replace the double pain and ordered it for us. We appreciated their wonderful service. I know who we'll use for our window replacement project coming up!

He came , then we got snow. then came back when he said he would and only asked for payment on finishing.

We had a few windows not performing as they should so I had them out for a consult and he did take some photos for part matching, was very quick on getting the parts located and purchased. The install was quick and done correct.

WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THIS COMPANY FROM OUR FIRST CONTACT FOR AN ESTIMATE THROUGH THE COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT.  NO HARD SELL FROM BILL, NO PRESSURE TO GIVE HIM AN IMMEDIATE DECISION.  THE CREW HEADED BY TIM WAS EXCELLENT AND FINISHED THE JOB IN TWO DAYS (STAYED UNTIL 7:30 PM THE LAST DAY).  WE HAD NO NEED TO BRING IN A CARPENTER OR PAINTER TO DO TOUCHUPS FOLLOWING THE INSTALLATION.  THEY TOOK CARE OF THAT THEMSELVES AND DID AN EXCELLENT JOB.  WE COULD NOT BE MORE SATISFIED WITH THIS COMPANY AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

Bill Myrick of Summer Window Co. promptly responded to my request and stopped by this morning to remove the window without any breakage so I can re-install it myself later. He strikes me as a straight-talking and personable professional. His firm is willing to do repairs as well as complete window replacement. This positive experience with Mr. Myrick pre-qualifies him as a bidder when I solicit bids to replace my windows later this year.

They were very professional, easy to work with, the work was completed on time and on budget and of good quality.  I would definitely use them again.

They were punctual, professional every step of the way, from giving us a quote to finishing job.  They even touched up the paint around the windows they replaced.  The windows work well and look good.

Price was very reasonable and meticulous.  There was a problem with an employee but the owner to action very quickly and got it addressed accordingly.  The owner was very professional, punctual, and knowledgable.  I would use their services again and would recommend them to others.

Great tho He didn't make it before 10 am

Early this year, I phoned Bill to come out and look at a window on which the seal had broken in a double paned window. Bill came out and looked at the window and said he'd order out the glass. Several days later I had a medical emergency, which put me in the hospital for several months.  Bill had called to say the glass was in, and my husband talked to him and told him that I was in the hospital.  Bill told him that there was no problem, to call when he could come out.  November 12th, I phoned to say that I was home and that if he could, and if he still had the glass, that he could come out at his convenience.  He came today, the 13th and put the glass in.  When I got my checkbook out, he said that "No, he would do this for me".  He said that he hoped that I was feeling better and that he'd feel better about it at no charge.  I was pleased to see that there are good and decent people still around.  I will definitly call Bill again if I need windows.  Thank you Bill.

I had a sliding glass patio door replaced. Bill was very careful measuring and checking for installation challenges in our older home before giving us an estimate. As a result everything went well. Great door, great price, and a smooth installation. Thanks!

First, the owner Bill, does a wonderful job of taking time to explain options and isn't pushy about replacing windows that could otherwise be fixed / salvaged.  Bill was on time for an estimate, measurement, and consultation and was a very pleasant person to have a conversation with regardless of the business opportunity.  He looked at our window (even taking the double hung piece that comes out for cleaning off) and inspected it's condition, remarking that it could possibly be saved, describing it's original manufacturing technique, etc.  I was more interested in just getting it replaced and even though he knew that he quoted me what I felt was a very fair price for a custom window and installation.  No pressure, no "let's talk about your other windows," and a clear understanding that most people aren't interested in spending their hard earned money on home projects they don't really need.  I was very impressed with Bill's honesty and integrity.
Installation went equally well.  Bill's installer Tim was easy to work with on a day and time and called that day to let me know he was running just a little late, which wasn't a problem, as I had allocated the day to be available.  Tim arrived, introduced himself, and got right to work.  And work he did!  I can't imagine how long it would have taken me to remove the old window, install the new one with the shimming / alignment needed, trim it, and caulk it.  Tim did it in about 3 hours from what I recall and I could barely tell he'd been there (either inside or out).
Overall, a really positive experience.  We will likely have some other windows that need replacing over the next few years and I will not hesitate to use Summer Window again.  Nor will I hesitate to recommend Bill to any of my family, friends, and neighbors who are considering new windows (although Bill may try to talk them out of spending $ on new if the option is available to repair instead :o) ).
