It was good and he did a good job. When they were done the wall looked smooth. My interaction with them was good; I don't remember anything specific.  

It took roughly one week to get the first visit for the installation started and was finished over three separate visits over the next 2 weeks due to transportation problems. Steve was very timely in getting back to me via cellphone whenever I had called him and left a message; he would also explain any issues/problems well in advance of it being a problem for me and causing unintended inconveniences.

EVERYTHING STEVE DOES IS A MASTERPIECE! HE WILL NOT STOP UNTIL THE JOB DONE IS "PERFECTO". HE BASICALLY DID EVERYTHING IN THE HOUSE. HE STARTED FROM THE PAINTING (SEE PREVIOUS REVIEW), BUILT, INSTALLED AND TOUCHED UP EVERYTHING. HE IS HARD TO GET BUT WHEN YOU CATCH HIM, YOU WILL NOT REGRET.

Worked with us to get the repairs done to our specifications.  Mixed some adobe mud for one wall in our great room, and reworked it until we were happy.  Pricing was very fair.  An honorable man who takes pride in his work.  We'll definitely call him again.

Steve is amazing - great quality workmanship, he literally does everything, and anything he can't do he lets you know (instead of over promising and under delivering).  Really a master of all trades and extremely reasonable pricing.  Very old school guy, but we loved having him in our house for the 3 weeks of our basement remodel.  He literally cleaned up the construction zone (vacuuming and everything) every day before he left for 3 weeks - that kind of professionalism.  Highly recommend.

His communication skills were poor in that when I said I wanted him to the job he must have assumed that I just wanted him and not his helper, he didn’t inform me that he had a regular helper. If his helper would have been there everything would have been fine. He with is helper have an A rating and it wouldn’t have bothered me at all to have his helper there so I know his helper had to be good since he had such a good rating. If I had known that he had a helper that would have been just fine having the helper work on the job as well, but I in no know he worked with a helper. It would have been gotten done in 2 or three days instead of taking over 4 days and the work was not totally completed. The grout work was not complete. It was obvious that the new helper that Steve got at the last minute didn’t know what he was doing, he didn’t know how to install a pipe kit or garbage disposal, he didn’t do the painting correctly either.  Steve himself did excellent work but however he didn’t finish the grout work like he was supposed to. He was supposed to be done at noon and by that time it was already 4pm by the fourth day. I offered to let him finish the grout were a week or two later, even if I had the carpeting installed by then but he insisted on finish then but then he didn't finish it. Steve's work was an A but the last minute helper's was an F.

Whatever time that he says he is going to be out there, he is there. He does a really good job cleaning up after himself everyday. It seemed like he focuses just on one job. Whatever he says he's going to do, he gets it done.

Steve performed all of our sheetrock work and we could not be happier with his work.  His price was very good and you would never be able to tell that he skim coated over the ugly texture.  It looks just like he put the knock down texture on brand new walls.  I would highly recommend using Steve to anyone that is going to have any sheetrock work done.

The work went well and looks great but we caught him with a very busy schedule...he definitely had trouble getting to our house on time.

Steve came by and gave us a reasonable estimate and we scheduled the work.  He showed up on time and completed the work in one day (as promised) and it looks great.  Can't even tell any work was done!!

This is going to sound like Steve is my nephew, but his service was excellent, from start to finish. Our basement had two very large rooms that were unfinished. He framed them up, installed drywall, worked with an electrician colleague to redo the wiring and install ceiling recessed lights, primed and painted the walls and ceiling (also did some plumbing work - a sink and counter and cabinets), and cleaned up thoroughly. He is a good, honest, down-to-earth, hard-working, friendly fellow, and I recommend him without reservation.

I had a roof leak which damaged the ceiling in my office.  Steve is a small business so I had to call him to find when he was coming out but when he came out, he did superior work and at a very fair price. We will definitely use him again.

over-all project was great, will definitely refer and plan on using again.

I am satisfied overall with Steve Gower Drywall & Painting . I plan on having him do more drywall work and handyman work for me.

I have used him twice now.  He does good work.

Steve was very prompt with his bid and his work.  He did every job I asked, even minor ones.  Was very friendly and helpful - even let me borrow his scaffolding to paint my ceiling.  Could not have been nicer - will definitely use again.

Their work was done fine and I was very happy with their work. They were very punctual and responsive which is not I can see of other drywall companies I have contacted. They came out to give me an estimate and I stuck to one of their estimates. They were able to do the work on a very timely manner. Then unexpected things came up and some of the things they just did incorporating with their other work. They charged a reasonable price for the additional work they did. It's an old house and we had no way of knowing that additional work was going to come up. They cleaned up after themselves all the drywall stuff to my perfect satisfaction and the garage looks much better now. They really went out of the way to make it look nice in the end which they really didn't have to do. I'm just very glad the way the work turned out to be and it's definitely holding up.

Excellent. Bid was $1400, (in line with one other estimate) and he stuck to the bid, even tho he had to do a bit of extra work because of some unforseen cicumstances (rotten wood had to be repaired/replaced). Very nice man, very competent. Would use him again without reservation. He was on time, he finished on time. Very nice work (excellent). $1500 was very well spent.
