The refrigerator section of our Amana 3 door refrig/freezer stopped working . . . temperature got up to 55 degrees. Ice had formed on the cooling coils blocking the air flow. We called L & S on a Saturday AM (of a 3 day Holiday weekend). Person we spoke with was very pleasant and informative. Within 2 hours a repair person arrived, analyzed the problem & was able to contact a supplier and order the part (even though the supply house had closed (12 Noon on Saturday). He explained that the part would arrive from Colorado Springs by Monday (Martin Luther Holiday), he would pick it up and install it that day. Repair person promply arrived that Monday and installed the part. The unit has worked well since then.

The bill was exactly what he quoted including parts and service and he suggested we file a claim with Xcel because he believed the power surge was what knocked out the defroster in the refrigerator. He was friendly and courteous in a quiet way and he did an overall outstanding job! If we ever have a problem with any of or other appliances, S&L is the first place we will call.

They are a very solid company and very knowledgeable about what they do. They are very professional and their service was great. They came in also to install appliances. They can fix all kinds of appliances and they get them up and running very quickly. They have very fair prices and are very responsive to their customers. I would highly recommend these guys whenever you have an appliance you want to get running.
