I love Roy! He is very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. After some communications through emails and texts, Roy came to my house exactly when he said he would. He worked for a little over two hours and got the piano tuned. He wore a mask the whole time. He recommended that I get the piano tuned again in six months since it had been 10 years since it was last tuned! Then he said once a year would be sufficient. I will definitely call him to come back in six months. He is a gem! And his cost was so reasonable, much less than I thought it was going to be!

At first, it was a pleasant email reply letting me that he was out of town due to an unforeseen issue and let me know once he was back in town the following week he would get a hold of me. Then we were able to talk over the phone, text and leave messages. I was extremely flexible with his schedule as to when he could come by the house and tune my piano. He stated he had other appointments during the week so I left it up to him when he could come by and gave him my schedule of when I would be home. I got a call on Wednesday that he would swing by and all was set. He called, supposedly when he was 20 minutes away from the house. I told him I was home and would be waiting. The guy never showed up and never called, end of story. I will not be getting back to him to see what happened.

"Note from Roy Sinclair (the piano tuner) Hey [Member Name Removed], I got a message from Angie'[Member Information Removed] List saying I gotten what they thought was a "funny" reference from a customer. Though it said I'd apparently done what I was supposed to do properly (which I always attempt to do), it gave me an all "F" rating! They said they'd look into it, but suggested I look at the references too. I did, and came across your two reviews. YIKES!!! Is this an accident, or is there something I missed horribly? I've worked hard to get uniformly good references (and had so far managed to), but if I unwittingly stunk it up that badly, please let me know how - I'd really like to fix it! I just moved from Phoenix and was afraid I'd never find a piano tuner like the one I had had in Phoenix for 25 years. Roy came and fixed my poor old piano (moved from Phoenix, sometimes left in hot garage in Phoenix heat) and it sounds better than ever. He is meticulous and even though there were a few things he couldn't fix, he did offer to come back out and try to work on those things (for an extra charge). He is a gentleman and certainly knows what he is doing. I now have another great technician for the next 25 years.

Roy got in touch with me after I purchased an Angie's List deal and he was very good at communicating via e-mail and phone. He worked around my schedule and was very polite and professional on the phone. His professionalism was also immediately evident when he showed up at our home as he got right to work and answered all of my questions about our instrument. Since our piano had gone so long without a tuning, it took an exceptionally long time, but Roy got it done without issue or complaint. I'm extremely pleased that I found such a professional person to work on our piano. We now have our go to for all tunings in the future. Thanks Roy!

Mr. Sinclair arrived on time and was very professional. He spent about one-and-a-half hours tuning our baby grand which had sagged in pitch by quite a bit. He advised us on maintaining the instrument between tunings, suggested a timeframe for the next tuning, and suggested that we purchase a humidifier for the instrument.

He was prompt, courteous and reasonably priced. My piano hadn't been tuned in several years. He explained everything and also pointed out things from previous tuners who worked on my piano. There were actually written notes inside the piano about the idiosyncrasies that I wasn't aware of as well as damage from a previous tuner's work. The PREVIOUS tuner did a bad job repairing something he broke and didn't bother telling me he had broken one of the boards holding one of the pedals and taped and screwed it back together. I wasn't even aware of this damage until Roy pointed it out. I'm so glad to find this new professional. He made me feel like I was a part of the process and now I know what's going on inside my piano. I will definitely use him again.

Roy was extremely flexible in accepting our last minute appointment the week before christmas when he is extremely busy. Our piano was terribly out of tune (needed tuning twice) but Roy worked patiently and diligently until it sounded just right. Pricing was in line with competitors and his service was excellent. Will use Roy every time from here on out!

Ron was punctual and did an excellent jog of tuning our piano. We had to pay extra since he had to "tune it twice" since it had not been tuned for years.
