My only advice is to be persistent about exactly what the quote is and what the alternatives are.

I was under a very tight time frame to get the shower glass installed and the mirror cut and installed. They responded quicker than they initially quoted, did great work and overall I was extremely satisfied. They had one scheduling error for one of their visits, but it was easily fixed. Price was lower than intially quoted as well.

They did the work on time and to my expectations. Unfortunately, I gave them the wrong measurements for the glass shelf. When I called to ask how much a new piece would be, they said they would do give it to me at no extra charge.

I called them around 11:00 this morning and they came right out, within a half an hour, put new rollers and some other thing, and it only took 20 minutes or so. They were very professional and pleasant, and I am very pleased with the service.

I found preferred glass on Angies list and gave them a call. Based on my description of the window, they gave me a price on the phone that was very competitive. Within a day of me deciding to go with them, they had an installer in the house confirming the measurements. It took about a week to get the window glass in and they called to set up an install time. Install went great and I was asked to keep the window shut for 24 hours to allow the glass and seals to settle. A couple of days later, I realized that I couldn't lock the window shut. I called Preferred Glass and they had the same installer out there the same day. Once he figured out what was wrong, he took total responsibility and was able to make it work just fine. It was nice to see someone take responsibility for their mistake and apologize for taking up my time to get it addressed. Not something you see very often these days...

They were very friendly and their pricing was very reasonable. The quality of their work was good and I was satisfied with their service.

We were looking to replace the whole door, but we didn't have the financial assets at the time. It hasn't been a problem yet. It is easier to clean and we were satisfied with it. They did the work quickly and were very polite. They came a little earlier than they were scheduled for. We asked a few questions and they were able to answer all our questions. We are looking to them to replace a few upstairs windows too.

They offered a bid over the phone and then came to my home and confirmed the cost. The window was installed on the date promised and at the quoted cost. My only complaint was that they did a marginal job of cleaning up after the job was finished.

I visited their shop on Monday and by Thursday they were out to my home to replace the glass in the bathroom and bring the other glass. The tech called me twice to let me know what was going on because I was not there.

The service was excellent. I requested an AM appointment because of work. I called at 8 am to confirm a time and was told that the service truck should be there in the hour. Preferred Glass arrived at 8:45! It is the first time a repair service has ever been there on time or when they said they would. The gentleman that repaired our glass was extremely professional and polite! We also received a AAA discount. I would highly recommend their service. Even the guy answering the phone when I called for a quote was polite and honest. They quoted $150.00 but it turned out to be $112. I would HIGHLY recommended them, they also repair auto glass.

Phone call was answered promptly and I was connected with the scheduler immediately. They asked when I wanted the work done, and when I said, ''As soon as possible,'' they said they could have someone here in an hour. I gave them the measurements of the windows, and they quoted a price of $473.53, plus tax. Serviceperson arrived in a little under an hour. He was polite, friendly, neat, quiet, and efficient. He got everything done within an hour and a half. He cleaned up each work area THOROUGHLY before moving to the next. He was also very tolerant of a pesky puppy that I had trouble keeping away from the work area. Upon completion, the total bill was exactly the amount quoted by phone. I am not rating the price, as I did not comparison shop and have no idea whether this price is competitive or not. My experience, however, was extremely positive, and I would highly recommend this vendor to anyone.
