The whole process went very well. Sam was very flexible with timing in providing the quote and doing the work. He provided a written quote when we initially met, as well as input on his availability for starting the job. We were renovating a house we just bought, and Sam accommodated my request to finish the floors in the bedrooms first, and the main living area a few weeks later. He provided a referral to a hardwood floor installer who was able to lace in the new hardwood kitchen floor with the existing dining room floor. Sam used two coats of an oil-based finish, which provided a rich, era-appropriate look for our mid-century house. He was easy to reach via text, and responded promptly. He did the work himself, and came in on the weekend to finish the job.

R1 Flooring LLC has done an excellent job with two different flooring projects at my house, which have involved staining and refinishing. They give you a fair price and provide excellent customer service. They give you an accurate estimate about how long the project will take and finish everything on time.
