Precision Door Service

Our major garage door would not open this morning. Our home warranty couldn't come for two weeks. We called Precision Door Service and they responded within hours. Jesse was great to work with. He arrived on time, was extremely knowledgable and went through a great safety explanation and made us very comfortable with his work and the cost. Jesse was not only very knowledgeable, he was courteous, friendly and professional. We are thrilled with Precision and will use them whenever we have any issues or when the time comes to replace the existing units. We will also recommend them to our neighbors!

When my garage door spring broke on a morning that I had an important meeting at work, I was in a panic. Precision Door came up first in my Google Search. Setting the appointment was quick and easy. They came out promptly. The technician assessed my door issues and informed me that my door had failed in several critical areas. Because I had not done my "homework" on the cost of replacing a spring on a garage door, I was charged $900 for the visit minus a $15.00 coupon. I didn't realize how badly that I got scammed until I got to work and my co-workers told me how little they paid for garage door repair. So, I called two competitors and got quotes of $169 and $340. Then I looked up the costs of the parts on Amazon.com. The total retail cost for the parts was $118.07. I was charged $766.93 for 1 hour labor!

Quick service, same day, tech was pleasant and knowledgeable. Way overpriced!!.. If you're looking for simple spring replacement, they don't offer price based options.. only a fixed way high 180.00 per spring.. Then on top of it they don't apply the absurd 65.00 service call to the work you gave them. They add it on. Then the owner Ben doesn't even reply to responses sent directly to him about the over priced work. I made the mistake trusting the over inflated reviews they fish for to beef up their rating.. I would encourage you strongly to use a more competitively priced company AT HALF the price.. There are tons in Denver, that give actual spring options.. Also beware, techs are trained to find what they can to add on to the work. My tech started pushing rollers, bearings, etc within 5 minutes trying to make me believe everything was shot and that an inspector will slam me when I sell. I have 9 rental houses and flip them yearly.. Never ever have Rollers or Bearings affected a sale.. Beware of this company.. This also could have been a more positive review if the owner cared enough to respond.

The company was very professional!  I received a phone call 30  minutes beforearrival and the technician was on time!!  As he was doing the tune-up and repair, he explained everythin the was good and everything that needs to be fixed.  I found Precision on-line........they were the only ones who actually answered the phone!  Great customer service.  I would use them again.

Service performed was very good.  Technician was knowledgeable, quick and courteous. Explained all the options available.  Ensured the door was working before leaving and picked up after himself.  My only complaint is that when I didn't choose the "full overhaul" of my garage door, it felt like I got quite a guilt trip about it and I didn't appreciate that.  Left a "bad taste in my mouth".  I indicated above that I would use them again, but I would probably ask for another technician.

What a professional. He came into the garage and knew right away what the problem was. After the removal of the bad parts and the installation of the new parts, he did an awesome job of cleaning up. I don't remember exactly what he charged me but I was happy afterwards.

When the company arrived they did not have the proper materials to repair the door even though they had repaired two other panels in past. The company stated they would order door and contact us to set up install date. We finally contacted company after three weeks and door was never ordered.

We have used Precision Garage Door for some time now. They have always been prompt and courteous, and have done the job right. This experience was no exception. After completing the job, the repairman explained all he had done and gave us tips on keeping the door in good condition.

I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS. I HAD THE DOOR GET STUCK AND THEY CAME RIGHT OUT AND FIXED THE PROBLEM. I THOUGHT THAT THEY WERE EXPENSIVE, FOR THE TIME AND WORK THAT THEY DID.

THE TECHNICIAN WAS PROMPT AND FRIENDLY. HE TOOK TIME TO EXPLAIN WHY THE PARTS WERE BROKEN OR BAD. HE ALSO CHECKED OVER THE DOORS THOROUGHLY SO THERE WOULD BE NO UNNOTICED DAMAGE.
