The installation was completed a day early and under budget. My daughter lives in the apartment and said everything was done on time. The removal of carpeting and cleaning of construction debrie was excellent. She stayed out of the apartment for a couple days allowing Pete to work quickly and with little interference from her. We are extremely pleased with the completed remodeling (ie new floors).

He did an excellent job. He was within budget and made many recommendations to save me money. I bought the materials, and he did the work. He was willing to work with my schedule, and I am very pleased with the finished product.

They were awesome.  They were very good and very reasonably priced.  They were very courteous and very clean with working.  They did a really good job.  I'll be using them again as a matter of fact.  They remodeled the whole bathroom and it was a total gut.  I got bids from other people and they were the cheapest.  Their work was just excellent.  They did new tub, new sink, vanity and everything was brand new.  It's just gorgeous.  Theirs was the most reasonable quote I got.

Very happy I hired Peterson Remodel & Construction even with a 2 week wait. Both Pete and Danny were very professional, polite, and considerate. It was a very collaborative effort. Pete kept me in the loop with suggested problem solving solutions and Danny helped me save money on my budget with painting. They pay a great deal of attention to detail. Everything went very smoothly without any hiccups (except for a Xcel power outage). My budget was 6,000 and I came just under that. Peterson's bill was about 3,800 which included some materials that I hadn't ordered. I would definitely hire them again.

We had a two-door garage with a center post with VERY narrow margins which made parking difficult. Pete came out and took out the center support and arranged replacement of the two doors with a single door. He and his crew were polite, expedient and thorough. They coordinated the replacement door and the company they subcontracted to were also great. The whole experience from start to finish was very pleasant. Also when the garage door opener broke the week before Pete handled the replacement as well and threw it in to the original quote!!
I highly recommend Pete and his crew and intend to use them for other jobs in the future!

Great!  Josh (owner's son) gave me great recommendations on a design for my fireplace and even had extra tiles at his house that he brought over and showed me how he could incorporate them into the tile work for the fireplace.  I hadn't even thought about adding an accent like that so I was pleased he proactively gave me that recommendation.  He spent a lot of time laying out the accent tiles for a design that we both liked -- it looks great!
He was very clean and polite, he took care in his work and the outcome shows.   The fireplace looks beautiful and the bathroom is so much nicer now -- couldn't be more happy!

Pete came out for their free estimate and quoted us $620 for taking care of everything. It took 2 weeks to schedule the work but it was worth the wait. They were very timely and professional in their work. It took approximately 3 hours for them to complete the work. They laid down dropcloths throughout entrances to the kitchen and I was introduced to the 2 men helping with the job. They removed a cabinet that was replaced with a smaller one, lifted the countertop to install the dishwasher and connected everything correctly. Before they left they ran the dishwasher to make sure there weren't any issues and incouraged me to call them if there were any issues in the future. Our overall price was $380! Wow! We will recommend this company and call them in the future, they were one of the few companies that could do it all.

This is about the 5th job -- some major remodels, some just smaller jobs like this one -- that I have had the Petersons do for me and, once again, it turned out beautifully.  Just what I wanted and the kitchen looks almost like it's had a complete remodel.  What a difference just sprucing up a few small things can make.
The Petersons always do great work at what I think is a more-than-fair price, and they are very pleasant and professional as well.  They are my go-to contractors these days and I can't recommend them highly enough.  You won't be disappointed.  Thanks, guys!

This is about the 4th job Pete and his son have done for us and, as usual, they did an excellent job.  I purchased the cabinets, etc., and they took care of removing the old fixtures, disposing of the items I didn't want and installing the new items.  All of the work was done in about 3 hours, and that included a little bit of waiting on me because the cabinet I bought was damaged and had to be returned and exchanged before they could install it.  They also did a little plumbing work to make the existing drain and shut offs work with my new vanity, which has drawers and a partial back, where as the old one was just open in the back.
I noticed one reviewer said she thought Pete might have inflated the price because it was insurance work.  I find that very hard to believe.  Pete and his son have always given great service at very reasonable prices and I can't imagine anyone more honest than these guys.
Regardless, they will continue to be my go-to guys for just about everything.  As a matter of fact, I have another job lined up for them later in the month.  I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Overall, Pete and his son's did a great job of putting our basement back together. I was impressed with their ability to work us into their busy schedule and mostly because we couldn't plan for this type of event. They did an excellent job on the tile work and an okay job on the patching of the drywall as there were a few very small noticible spots that I notice a couple weeks later, no biggie though. I don't expect perfection but I do expect and demand quality.

The only issue for us was the price. Paying that much for drywall installation and tile seemed a bit much. Since he already knew the insurance company would be picking up the tab, I suspect that he charged us a bit more than he normally would have. He also quote us a price of about $3,700 for labor, demo and install for our very small galley kitchen which, in hind sight, makes the basement seem very expensive.

We will choose to go with someone else for our next project but not because he didn't do a good job, I am just a bit weary over the pricing. But, at the time I just wanted my basement back to normal after such a yucky event.

I got Pete's name from Angies List and he is a very nice guy, with two very nice son's who work for him. Pete came out and gave us an initial price for replacing the doors and we eventually settled on replacing the front doors instead of the front and back doors since we wanted to do the back door as a part of a later kitchen remodel.

My husband and I were not very pressing for time as the need was not immediate. Pete took the time to squeeze us into his very busy schedule to pick up the doors we purchased from Home Depot and got them installed fairly quickly. There was a problem in that the screen door for the storm door was installed incorrectly and the screen tore the very first time we used it. I was worried at first but eventually called Pete and he sent his sone out to eventually fix the problem by ordering another screen (at their expense) and to also properly caulk the door from the gaps that were showing.

Like any contractor, not just Pete, you might have to have them come back to fix problems. Pete came back and addressed any issues.

Pete and his son have done quite a bit of work for me over the last 2 years and have always done excellent work on everything from bathroom remodeling to door replacement to drywall patching to full basement remodeling and more.  They are my go-to guys for just about everything.  I wish I had known them when I had my deck built about 3 years ago.  That's a long, sad tale that doesn't belong here except to say that the deck -- which, incredibly, had passed inspection by Lakewood Building Department at the time it was built -- had begun to pull away from the house.

When Josh Peterson came out to check out the problem for us, it became apparent that the original builder of the deck had not properly secured the ledger board to the house.  The single bolt in the entire board he used had pulled out of the brick when the wood had dried and warped.  Josh performed the work detailed above and when he was done, you could barely tell that the boards had been removed and reattached -- with the exception that the deck was again flush with the house and didn't wobble when you went up and down the stairs!

Once again the Petersons have done excellent work in a friendly and professional manner for a fair and reasonable price.  I will continue to use them in the future and recommend them highly.

Mr. Peterson responded quickly to our request for an estimate and was right on time to look at our job.  We had already selected the tile to use, but he was able to get the same tile at a cheaper price.  On the installation day, Josh Peterson arrived promptly, quietly prepared the surfaces and completed the job in a very professional manner.  We were very pleased with the workmanship and attention to detail.  He came back the next morning to apply the grout and complete the job.  The price was well under other estimates and the work was excellent.  We would highly recommend the firm for any type of remodel or construction job.

PETERSON REMODEL & CONSTRUCTION was on time and finished in an appropriate timeframe. They were clean and unobtrusive, and at all times respectful and communicative. The actual cost of tile, tub, labor, plumbing rough in was about 6400.00, the rest was purchased by us. They executed exactly what we wanted and in our budget, and really well. We can qualify this because we've had some remodeling done on other parts of the house, and we wished we'd known Pete then, he does excellent and honest work. When we show it off comments are to paraphrase: "Wow!" We are going to hire him to do some other work as well. I heartily recommend PETERSON REMODEL & CONSTRUCTION.

This is the second job Pete and his son have performed for us, the first being an extensive basement bath remodel. As with the first job, they arrived on time, barely took time for lunch and worked a full day. They both work quickly, quietly and diligently. They make every effort to keep the mess down while they work and clean up thoroughly after they are done. I couldn't be more thrilled with the work they did. My old doors were original from 1978 and looked hideous, worked poorly and really dated the house. I feel like I have a new house now! Fresh white doors really lighten up the interior, too. The garage door is the best part, though. What a difference to have a nice new door that fits properly. No more throwing your weight against the door to get it to catch and no more drafts. As I stated, this is the second time I have used Pete and his son and I will definitely call them again in the future. In fact, he is in the process of bidding another job for me now. I don't bother to call anyone else now because I'm confident their pricing will be fair and their work quality. They will be my go-to company from here on out.

I am not probably going to follow through with them. They quoted $9,000. It was a very rough estimate. It included labor for electrical work, plumbing work and opening up some walls. It did not include the cost of the material. We were trying to determine how long it would take. The person who came was a nice guy. He showed up on time for the appointment. I did not feel that he was detail oriented or perhaps he sensed that I was not quite ready to talk about the project. He took a look around and said that he would give a rough estimate on how long he thought it would take. I am in the process of getting an estimate from another company and I might end up going with that company. I might consider using this provider in the future.

Pete and his son did an excellent job. The bathroom is exactly what I wanted. Pete really listened to what I wanted and did just that. He also gave me some great design ideas such as adding a linen closet in a dead space, and adding some wall sconces to a long wall to provide extra lighting. He suggested wiring them separately so that I didn't need to have all the lights on at once if I didn't want to. I really felt he understood that I wanted a nice, functional and pretty space, but didn't want to break the bank to get it. I got 3 estimates and Pete's was in the middle, far less than the higher bid, but that's only part of the reason I chose him to do the job. He has a very quiet, competent manner and I really liked that. He and his son came on time every day, and the job was done in a little over a week. They covered everything they weren't working on and cleaned up after themselves every day when they left. They worked a full day, 9 to 5, and barely took a lunch break, rarely leaving the job site unless it was to get materials. I can't say enough good things about them, and I plan to have them remodel my kitchen next.

Pete and his son did fabulous work on our renovated bathroom. They did everything from some demolition (we did most of the demolition prior to them starting the job) to new electrical, new plumbing, new green board, wall texturing and painting, new tile in shower and on the floor, and installation of new fixtures. It was a complete job ? we didn?t have to hire various contractors to get the work done. They were here on time, everyday and were so polite and trustworthy. Pete made recommendations on tile that saved us money. We were trying to have the bathroom completed before relatives came in town and Pete and his son finished the project in 6 days. We would highly recommend them; we have hired them to remodel our kitchen.

This is a small, family business, father and son work together. They came within 3 days of our first contact, looked over our list and called back with an estimate 4 days later. At that time they set a time and date to begin the work. They started work as scheduled and completed it in a reasonable amount of time. We were very happy with the quality of their work and the charges were quite reasonable. We have used them in the past and have not had any problems.
