Description of Work: I've used Ashton several times over the past couple of years. On his latest visit, he fixed several problems I was having with my computer. He also taught me more effective ways to use some programs as well as shortcuts I hadn't known about. He will come to your home, which definitely beats carrying your computer to a shop. He is usually able to do the repairs immediately, so you aren't without your computer for the week or more that a shop might keep it. If he is unable to repair the computer or fix the problem quickly, he will take it with him and return it when fixed. Over the past couple of years, he has replaced a damaged D-drive on my desk-top computer; advised me on buying a new laptop and set up the laptop for me; helped me download and set-up programs; and taught me new computer skills (i.e. answering questions about "How do I do ........?" He is an excellent teacher, making tasks seem manageable or walking me through a process (while I write down the specifics). His prices are reasonable and I appreciate the time I save by not having to take it to a shop.
