"I am a little surprised after reading this negative review. This particular job was completed in June of 2011. At Our Family Tree we try very hard to satisfy all of our customers. I cant say that my attitude on the day that this work was completed was 100% positive. At that time we were paying a man to do door to door sales for us. I was made aware of the new job that our sales man aquired. The proposal seemed to be fair and clear. "Remove dead willow tree and also a large beetle bush with stump. I have to make it known that it is our common practice to remove as much non plant material (rocks, dirt etc.) while grinding as possible. I realized how deep the river rock was beneath the bush. I had already ground close to 8 inches into ground, when i decided that grinding deeper would risk damaging surrounding property with flying rock. When the customer was made aware, she was irritated by the news. I ground about 8 in. and stopped grinding. It should be known that the acceptable distance is 8 - 10 inches deep when grinding stumps. I must say that the way I presented myself that day was not totaly professional, but was not at all how she described it. I have alway's ran my business with the customers satisfaction my number one goal. I did apologize for my actions that day. I am confused as to why more than a year later a negative review was written. I did offer to remove all of the rock for an additional cost. I have learned from this experience and make every effort possible to go above and beyond work expectations. I make a point to give all of the bids, in person to avoid confusion."
