Had to have them return because we did not notice a decrease in the amount of spiders whatsoever after our initial treatment. 
If you choose to use them, ask for the technician Jeremy.  He did a much more thorough treatment and made notes so that any follow-up we perform will not have the technician guessing about what had been done. 

I have used Orkin for about a year now.  About a month ago, we moved into a new home.  There are a lot of bugs.  I called them the first day we were here, to ask them to come to the new house.  I spoke to someone on the phone, they told me they would have a service man call me in the next 24 to 48 hours.  They NEVER CALLED ME BACK.  I continued moving and forgot about them for about 2 weeks until I found a giant wolf spider.  Called them back, they were apologetic, said they'd have someone call me in the next 24 to 48 hours.  Again, THEY NEVER CALLED.  Ok, I'm a mom, and pregnant, and moving into a new home, I didn't think to call them again for another 2 weeks.  When I called again, I was upset.  I told them they had not called me back twice, and the woman on the other end acted like I was lying.  Then she basically ignored my complaint and set up an appointment for me.  The morning of the appointment, the service man called me and said he was sick and needed to reschedule.  He was very nice, and I am an understanding person, so even though it was annoying, I said of course.  He came on thursday.  I told him that our main concerns were spiders, flies, and hornets.  He treated 2 levels of my 3 level home.  He also treated outdoors.  He told me he suspected there was a hornets nest in my deck but that there's nothing he could do about it because he couldn't reach it.  This concerned me, because my 2 year old son plays on our deck all the time.  When he was leaving, I specifically asked him if he had checked all the eves for nests around the front of my home.  He glanced up and saw there were mud-dobber nests (I call them mud-dobbers, I don't know their real name), and said, "Oh those will die on their own."  I assumed he had at least checked for hornets nests as that was one of my major concerns.  He was a very nice man, but everything I asked he sort of found a way to say no.  Last night, my husband and son were out front changing light bulbs.  My husband reached into a light fixture to change a bulb, and a hornet fell down his shirt and stung him five times.  He looked and saw that there are two live nests in the fixture.  He looked and saw another live nest in another fixture, and the beginning of one in another.  Thank god that our son was not stung, or that the entire nest did not come dislodged and fall so they were both swarmed.  And finally, thank god that my husband is not allergic to stings.  We still do not know if our son is.  I am LIVID with Orkin.  I can not believe they did not look in the OUTDOOR LIGHTING FIXTURES for hornets nests.  I am not even an exterminator and that's the first place I would check.  I am simply watching the clock right now, waiting for it to be 8 am so I can call and fire them.  Unacceptable on every level, and my family member was injured because of their ignorance.  Do not hire them.

They are fine.  I don't really have anything to compare them to.  They were very professional.

The first time they came, they were fairly thorough and in order to ensure that I don’t have termites come back, they had to come back each year.  I have to pay them #350 for them to come back each year to see if I have termites and that is where they failed.  I was stuck with them and they didn’t do a thorough inspection when they came back, but they still charged me #350.

They come out on a by monthly basis but I'm changing it to quarterly.  I've not really ever tried another service.  They always call ahead and they are always very courteous.  They inquire about whether or not I've seen anything inside because they generally only do the outside.  They are very good.  I don't say they are excellent because I don't have anything to compare them with and I've never compared their price either.  They've always done good work, inside and outside.  They are always on time.  They are very professional.

I have been using them for 5 years. I tried them out a couple of times and they had excellent service. The technician that came was very knowledgable and conscientious about my pets and small children in the house. He was very safe about using products. The price was probably higher than others, but the service is far beyond.

They continually raise the price, so we have them come out once in two months.  We pay them once in two month for what we used to pay for indoor and outdoor service every month.  They provide a service that is decent and good.  I know the bugs and the spiders that we normally get are less because of their service.  They also catch one or two mice once in a while.  Like any company, they have personal issue; but it's just a personal thing.  If I call them and say that what they did yesterday didn't work, then they out here the next day or within a couple of days.  They are usually on time.  They call the night before to inform that they would come out the next morning.  The techs we had have been very professional.  I would consider using the service that is comparable and for a lesser price.

I have animals in my yard called voles in my yard which they said are not covered  for there services. They will come and give me a free exception. They should specific what a pest is because its very vague. They have done good service past.

We have been very happy with their service. The price is about average and we will continue to use them in the future.

I would recommend their services. The overall experience was excellent. They were punctual, responsive, and professional. I would use this provider again, if needed.

They were good. They come up about once a month. They come out right away.

They knew what they were doing.

They do a good job.  They usually come when I'm not home, but we haven't had any issues.  We don't have any pest problems anymore.

I've used Orkin since 2008 and have been very pleased both with their service and their technicians. They're very careful about applying treatments around household pets and are responsive to special problems that may arise in between scheduled visits. The technicians are professional, personable, and very knowledgeable about the chemicals used. I highly recommend this company.

Their first initial visit went really well. The technician was professional and courteous. The problem arose when I tried to get them to come out and re treat some trouble areas. So far I've called them 3 times over a weeks time. Everytime they say that "Tim the Tech" will be in touch shortly. Well, after the third time, I'm ready to cancel my service. This is ridiculous!!!

We paid a year in advance for a 12 month contract when we were in our previous home and when we moved; they came and sprayed for bugs. The people who used to come in my old house were thorough but the person came here was not that good. We were not very pleased with their work and that?s why we did not renew the contract.

They did a fine job. They came out and checked out our problem, and gave us an estimate that I thought was reasonable. The salesman came and talked to us first. Later on, the technician came and did the work. He came back a second time - I think he was scheduled to come back a second time - and gave us a second treatment. We haven?t had a problem since. They were a little bit cheaper than another estimate that I received. I would use them in the future.

They have been good! They keep the bugs away!

I would not recommend Orkin nor use them again.

Orkin Exterminating Co Inc. has been very responsive to my calls for their service. The treatments they have done for me have been effective. They have been reliably coming once a month through the spring and summer and won't be coming that much through the winter months. I pay them per each visit, not a contract.

I originally hired Orkin to get rid of a stubborn hornet infestation. After several tries they succeeded. They also got rid of a stubborn ant problem. However, I was not happy with them. Often I would set up an appointment and they wouldn't show up, or they would show up claiming an appointment had been made when in fact I had never talked to them. I also had numerous billing problems in which they billed me for services that I didn't order or receive. When the time came to renew their contract, I told them not to renew, then had to make several calls when they billed me for services not rendered anyway.

Bill our rep called the day before with a set time to be at our home. He was right on time. This is Bill's second trip to our house. He is very friendly, knowledgeable and thorough.

WE ENJOY THE SERVICE OF ORKIN PEST CONTROL BECAUSE THEY GIVE US REMINDER CALLS BEFORE THE SERVICE IS PERFORMED & THEY CALL AFTER TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS TAKEN CARE OF. THEY ARE VERY THOROUGH & TIMELY.

It was more difficult getting rid of the mice, especially because there seemed to be so many. I had to have them come back and repeat the work on a couple occasions.

They are always on time. We have the same technician every time so they know our house and problems. They always do a good job and we never have any problems with spiders, ants, mice or wasps.
