Object Design Studio

Working with Nelson at Object Design Studio is always a fantastic experience. He provides jewelry and watch repair services, and has a small inventory available for sale in his shop, but where he really shines in creating custom jewelry to match his customer's unique style. Nelson is not simply an expert jeweler, he's an architect, engineer, and artist rolled into one. One of his specialties is kinetic (moving) jewelry. This latest necklace (one of several he has created for me), has a fixed round sapphire at the bottom and a moving diamond shaped yellow garnet on top. Working with him is as interactive a process as you'd like it to be. He has great ideas, but is always open to your input. For my project we started with the main stone I wanted-- a sapphire. He then brought in several stones to choose from-- and even steered me away from some of the more expensive ones that were not as nice as the one we decided upon. He then created 3 setting choices as wax models, and after I chose one he suggested the accent stone to add more interest and movement to the piece. Everything Nelson creates is of the highest craftsmanship, His work is not inexpensive, but as far as I'm concerned it is the best value in Denver. I give my highest recommendation to Object Design Studio.
