Overall, I was EXTREMELY impressed with the process. I went through Home Depot, who then sent out a representative from Norman Window Fashions to my house to give me an estimate. The scheduling process with Home Depot was easy, and the guy who did my estimate (Corby) was fantastic. He carefully measured all of my windows (I had several people come out to give me estimates that did "rough" estimates of the measurements), and he talked through the varieties of options, giving recommendations. The specific recommendations that he made were fantastic "updgrades" to my shutters that were included with no extra charge. Also, the price was EXPONENTIALLY lower than that of other, similar companies.
Throughout the process, I was able to check in with Norman directly to check on the status of my order. As soon as it arrived, they sent me an e-mail, and I was put in touch with the installer. It took exactly 6 weeks for my blinds and shutters to arrive.
The installer (Samir) was extremely professional. He laid down pads throughout the house and carefully installed everything around my furniture. When he was finished, he cleaned everything up, did one last walk-through clean-up of each shutter, and ensured that all details were tended to. He was very polite, and I hardly knew he was in my house for several hours.
The quality of the shutters is fantastic! I went with the composite wood, and I am so thrilled that I did. Looks amazing in my house and makes a huge difference on my interior decor. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my experience!

The order was scheduled for delivery 4-6 weeks after we placed the order. The order came in in 4 weeks. Duratex called for an install time, and that occurred within 2 days. The installer was very professional. There was no clean up on my part. The shutters were installed within 1 hour. The installer went through education on operation and cleaning of the shutters. The shutters are beautiful. I can't believe how they have glamorized my living and dining rooms. After we save up some more money, we will have our family room and kitchen done next. Our plan is to do the whole house.
