Honestly, this was the worst mowing job I have ever seen.  The mowing was uneven and it often looked like the mowed one walk around the yard and then gave up.   I often couldn't tell if they mowed at all.  They were supposed to come out and remove old tree roots and never followed up after many commitments to come out and complete the job.  We went with them because they were supposed to trim around the fence line and mow the lawn evenly.  Nothing was even and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Anh Nguyen seems to keep changing his business name - I have been receiving his ads for years.
I decided to give him a try - even though I had some less than stellar experience with another lawn contractor in the past.
The work was performed within ~3 days of promised date. I am not sure how much of 'raking' was done, and aeration was a bit less than what I am used to see. But after that, we had the two spring snow storms, preventing further inspection.
However, after the snow melted and lawn started growing again, It showed yellow 'fertilizer burns' both on the back and front lawns (with the front burn being about 5x1 ft - really ugly). There was so much fertilizer spill that I used a shop-vac to pick it up - too late for the damage.
I called Nguyen asking IF he could come, take a look and advise me what to do. His reponse was 'how could we burn the lawn' - like if he never heard of anything like that. But he seemed OK with the idea of coming over.
But he did not show up, so I called again.
This time, he told me that burns are because I either did not water or watered too much (I am not sure which one it was). I politely explained that the 16" snow melt was nothing I could control, and that most of the lawn is just fine - except for those ugly burns. Again, I asked him to come over, take a look and tell me what to do.
He did not show up.
So I mailed him a letter with pictures of the burns.
NO response.
Now, two months later, I still have a burn on my front lawn - I could not re-sod it because my lawn is Reveille (low water) sod and I could not find anybody selling just one role of Reveille sod. But, hopefully, by fall it will grow back.

I called and left two messages for a return call to get an estimate on service. Never received a call back. I finally called a third time, and someone answered. They took my address and said they would get over to the house and call the next day with an estimate. I never received a call back. I called them back the following Monday and never got a return phone call.

We were under a tight deadline to get the work done. Our home was selected for a local garden tour and we knew this would require some fast repairs to a weed infested small lawn area and the repair of a sprinkler system that had not been working for years. We had another company remove five dead and dying Aspen trees and that company was supposed to come back and remove the stumps and roots...they never returned to do so and the tour was fast approaching. Nguyen went above and beyond to be sure we were taken care of at a very busy time of year for lawn and landscaping services and did not take advantage of our need for a fast turnaround time.
We could not expect better customer service than what we received from Nguyen. He and his crew removed the tree stumps and roots and quickly removed and disposed of them.
He repaired a sprinkler system that we didn't think could be fixed. When it wasn't working as he thought it should after he made repairs (low water pressure), he was persistent until he found the "root" of the problem...a root had grown through and obstructed a section of the the line. When my husband, who is rather detail oriented, did not like a particular sprinkler head that failed to optimally clear a bush, Nguyen went out of his way to find the solution that functioned best. 
We were impressed with Nguyen's knowledge and creativity regarding the optimum sod to use, decorative options, and creativity for resolving challenges. We had had years of trouble with grass not growing properly in our front yard because the soil had not been prepared well prior to sod installation when the house was new. We eventually replaced the entire front yard with Xeriscaping. The back now has wonderful green sod that is doing very well due to the fabulous job Nguyen did of preparing the soil prior to laying the sod.
When we asked him and his crew to repair a waterfall and rearrange the rock on it in a more pleasing arrangement, he was quick to admit that this was beyond his company's capabilities at the time. He didn't stop there...knowing we were under a tight time frame for getting the job done, he immediately got on his cell phone and contacted two companies he knew  that could fill our request quickly. One of those referrals came out the same day, gave us a bid and completed the work within the week. To say we were impressed would be an underestimation!

It was late in the season before I contracted with a lawn service.  I think they squeezed me in and it is appreciated.  I will keep them for next season, but will request a different mowing time.

They do an excellent job. We have used them for a while and will continue to.

Everything went well, per usual, these people have been caring for my yard for the last 6 years. One caveat, however.   It is important to communicate your exact wishes to Anh Nguyen, the owner, since the helpers command of the English language can sometimes be questionable. 

He was courteous and called me back.  He was also very honest & said I am too far away for him to come out. 

We have used them for the 4 years. They are always here and they are thorough with their work.
