The door was poorly installed from the start, with a large gap between the door and the garage, allowing the elements into the garage. We had the installer, Wayne-Dalton Genie sales center of Denver out twice to fix it.
The first time they said it could not be adjusted and they could only put a larger weather strip to fix the problem. The problem persisted so we had them out a 2nd time. This time they said they could move it closer and were not sure why the last time the technician did not.
Since it was adjusted, the door has increasingly worsen in terms of opening and closing; it does not run smoothly and makes very loud creaking noises when closing. We are outside of our 1 year warranty, but I called anyway to see if they stood behind their work, which they do not. Although the one year is up, it's only been 6 months since they worked on it, which I thought since it's a related problem, they would at least be willing to a**** the problem. I was wrong, they will not come look at it unless we pay the $95 service charge, even though they are the ones that created the issue. I asked to speak to a manager, Melanie the receptionist was rude, so I wanted to get an answer from someone in charge. Instead of the manager calling me back as discussed, the receptionist called back and said the manager said we would have to pay the service fee.
Poor quality, poor workmanship and poor customer service; the sales trifecta.
Look elsewhere if you need to install a garage door, you can't do worse.
