I have used a lot of moving companies over the years and I would have to say Movers Connection is the worst moving company I have ever used.

It all starts with the their booking agent that will come out to your house and promise a highly professional packing and moving service, where in fact what you get is far from professional. You are told your beds and couches will be covered in protective plastic to protect them from water and dirt. When your furniture arrives it is filthy and damaged from where it has rubbed in their truck against other objects. Lamp shades that you where told would be packed into protective boxes are not and end up crushed and covered in dirt. This is where the customer service stops as the removal crew almost runs through the house bashing doors, scraping walls and damaging furniture as they go.

Once the move is finished and you are left with your dirty, damaged furniture, the crew is very apologetic and I was told as they run out the door to make a claim with the head office. This is where the fun really starts.

I guess they get a lot of claims as there is a whole department to deal with them, but the department does not exist or no one returns your calls in relation to making a claim.

On their web site they have placed an email address for customer support that does not work. I was also told when they presold me and I found out later very expensive, poor quality removal cardboard boxes I could return the used boxes after the move but when you turn up at there depot address it is a locked glass door with a video camera behind the glass and a sign that states the office is not attended.

If you are thinking of using this company to move your precious belongings I would warn you against it as you will only experience grief and frustration and I urge you to find a more reputable company to help you with your move.
