Miracle Method

It was very good, excellent.  His price was very reasonable compared to the other companies that I checked and the kind of product that they used.  They were very good on everything.  There was nothing that I didn't like about their service.  They were really good about everything.  Their product is excellent and I don't have any complaints at this point.

The counter top was put over my old counter and so far everything has been great.  
The bathtub project was to fix the installation of a HD product by my handyman.  The product did not  cover  well.  They removed the HD product and refinished my bathtub.  The results were awesome in all respects.  But, it is early and time will be the true test.

Did a great job

It went very well.  The service man was friendly and answered all of my questions.  He arrived on time and completed the work in a timely manner.

Normally a three day process for this size of the job. Technician spent 4 hours the first visit to repair and prep the counters with the initial coating of white. Kitchen cabinets and floor were masked and a tent like seal was put up to separate the kitchen from the dinning room when spraying. Second day, color/pattern was overlaid with the seal coat applied the next day. The kitchen was not useable during the process and after completion, the new coating was to cure for a few days before heavier items were to be placed on counters. Friends are remarking what a great look of the countertops. Some chemical smell in house after spaying applications, but dissipated quickly.

General Manager, Amy, was so knowledgeable about the company's product and the process that was used and answered all questions expertly.  Mike, who resurfaced the tub was equally as knowledgeable and did a wonderful job.  The entire experience with Miracle Method was very pleasant.

From the start everything was very professional.  Jeff was the person who performed the actual job and We can't say enough how well he did.  We are very pleased!

I had a lovely visit from the owner and we discuss the project. He thought the coating on our small area of floor would look great. He explained all about the product and the process. When I called to schedule, the woman (I'm so sorry I can't recall her name!) was wonderful! She worked to schedule the work during a time my husband and I would be out of town, and so that my parents could come each day and let the technician in to do the work. Everyone was friendly, professional, and so helpful to accommodate our schedule. My mom did say it was probably good that we were gone because the odor was quite strong in the house, especially the first day of the work.
Both the tub and the floor turned out fabulously well! The bathtub is so much easier to keep clean now and it really looks like new. The floor tiles and grout had become so dirty and difficult if not impossible to keep clean. With the Miracle Method coating, the floor is bright white again and super easy to clean. I can do a quick vacuum to get up dust and hair, or use the mop for a deeper clean, and they look great! We are very happy with the results! It was WONDERFUL to come home to like-new surfaces in our one and only bathroom!

When I called to make the appointment he could do our work In a week, it was perfect Timing for our tight schedule. He showed up on time and wasted no time and got right to work, He got there at nine and was done by three!!!! He was quick and professional, and got the job done. Our tub was a mess it was flocking and had been resurfaced poorly a few times, and he made it look like new again. The smell was strong so I took my children out of the house for awhile and he called me when he was finished. It was a perfect overall experience, i would recommend him to everyone.

Overall I was very pleased with the company though not as much with the product. I am not crunched for time so although we had to reschedule the second day part of the process due to the company having a prior job with another client that took more time than forecasted this was not a problem for me. However if you are on a tight schedule let the company know ahead of time. I recall there is some residual smell of the product for a day even though they use fans. So don't plan on having guests over for a few days.

Great service, good price, nice job

The process was good.  The result was good but not great.  We ended up with orange peel texture in the sink and bathtub instead of the smooth porcelain-like finish that we expected.  Tony, the workman, had to return to deal with surface imperfections and try to improve the final product.  He was pleasant and professional.

Day 1 consisted of covering and taping off the surrounding area, repairing any nicks or gouges, preparing the surface, and then painting the counter-tops. Day 2 was applying the clear top coat and removing the coverings. Day 3 was waiting for everything to dry before we could touch or gently use the counter-tops and it wasn't until the end of day 4 that we could begin to put things, like the microwave and coffee maker, back on the counter-tops.

Overall the project went great and I love the "new" counter-tops! I especially appreciated that both the salesman and the technician took the time to explain exactly what was involved in the process and, for the most part, what I could expect. I do wish they had warned me that the cabinets, sink, and dishwasher would be covered with plastic sheeting for 2 days.

As for dos and don'ts: Do be prepared to live without the use of most of your kitchen for at least 2 days. Luckily I moved the refrigerator and microwave to the other side of the room and could still access them. We also had to move the stove out of the way which meant, other than the microwave, I could not cook for 3 days. I would also recommend taking items that you will need, such as dishes or food, out of the cabinets since they will be covered with plastic for the first 2 days. You should also keep in mind that you will most likely not be able to use your dishwasher or sink for these 2 days. I would also say, Do be prepared for a powerful unpleasant odor on day 2 that will last most of the day and possibly into the next. Luckily we had nice weather and were able to open windows. To us the odor was bad but not such that we had to find somewhere else to sleep that night even though we had to close the windows. Don't expect your counter-tops to be as smooth as your old ones. It isn't that the surface will be rough; it just isn't as smooth as laminate or Corian. I think this is because what they apply is a paint with flecks in it and this makes the surface slightly bumpy. Unfortunately the top coating is not thick or deep enough to leave an entirely smooth surface. After our counter-tops had dried we found a few spots where the flecks were sticking up above the top coating so we called and the technician came back out to take care of it.

As stated earlier, we are very pleased with how the counter-tops turned out and glad we did not attempt this project ourselves. We do not think we could have done as good a job as Miracle Method.

Pablo, the gentleman who did the work, was very responsive to my need for protection from the fumes...I have COPD...and on the second day,  readily did some touch-up of spots that were not perfect.  I am pleased with the result...time will tell as to how it holds up..

The tub looks fabulous! The process from start to finish was very easy and the staff at Miracle Method were very patient with me having to reschedule several times and changes to what was to be done. We STILL haven't been able to move into the house so I can't speak to the durability of the refinish, but I expect it will perform as described as long as we take care of it. Pablo refinished the tub and I found him to be very pleasant to work with. He called me before he came over each day and took great care with the clean up and explaining the maintenance of the tub. Based on my experience, I highly recommend Miracle Method's services.

**Update**

Nearly one year since the tub was sprayed, the paint started bubbling. Today, a good portion of the tub floor is back to it's original color due to the paint peeling off in sheets. We followed the care instructions closely, used the suggested type of cleaning products, bath mat (not supplied by Miracle Method as Pablo never contacted me about dropping one off as agreed upon when he was in the area the next week, and that I would of course had purchased) and we did not allow the mat to sit in the tub when we were not bathing. I'm told the only way to correct this is to have the whole tub refinished. Not sure if it's worth it. Even though I am still satisfied with how smoothly the original procedure went, I am not all happy or impressed with the way the product has held up.

The treatment is a bit messy, when they come out for my estimate, they told me what would happen. It would be a two day process
The technician told me what he would be doing, preparing the surface the first day, and spraying the new finish the second.

He told me he would hand plastic sheeting to keep the dust down to a minimum.
When I went over to see the finish once the work was done, there was no evidence of any mess or dust.

I also used Miracle Method in AZ at my winter condo. I was there for that process. It does take 2 days. The technician enclosed the bathroom with plastic sheeting, to keep the dust down to a minimum, he also set up fans to help with the strong odor. The chemical he needed to use to get the painted on coating that was on the tub was very strong smelling, as was the smell of the coating of the finish.

If you are able, I would recommend not being inside what they work. The second day it took about a half a day for the smell of the coating to clear out. But I am very sensitive to strong chemical odors.

It was well worth two days of disruption to get a beautiful new looking tub, and not have to deal with a full bathtub tear out.

I thought I would have to refinish the whole bathtub but when they came out they said its just the skid resistant part was worn out through previous use. They put a new one in which was much cheaper than resurfacing the whole bathtub. They were excellent. I would recommend them. The professional staff that takes your appointment over there, she was very helpful and knew what we wanted. She knew what was going on.

My tub was rusted and they refinished it. They did the spray on finish. I wasn't totally pleased with the job. I had them come back once because they didn't really do a good job on the sanding and there are still spots on the tub. The guy was very nice and came back the same day I called and fixed it again, but some of the orange peel around the tub remains. I picked them because they had good ratings on Angies List.

It went very well, they were able to complete the work within a couple of days when I called them.
