Miracle Maids

We hired them to do a vacancy clean. We were quoted about 2 hours. When they arrive with 2 maids they then quoted us twice the time (4 hours).
They arrived 30 minutes late. And we went down to see if they had arrived or not and found them sitting in the car eating their lunch. I'm not apposed to people taking a lunch break (in fact I encourage it), but at the very least let the customer know: and quot;I need to eat my lunch.and quot; But instead we are waiting for them to arrive.
Even though they told us it would take 4 hours to clean. We told them we can only afford 2 hours. They responded, and quot;We can finish in 2 hours.and quot; (what? I thought you said 4 hours). They started at 2:10 and stopped at 3:50 (1.6 hours total) and charged for 2 hours and not much was finished.
One maid was on her phone about 50% of the time and couldn't speak any english (took a 5 minute video for proof if needed). The other maid spoke a little bit of english and worked diligently.
The guy that coordinates the business seems to speak more than listen. And when I try to explain something to him, he keeps talking over me. I got into an argument with him about what he estimated a 1 bedroom, 650 sq ft apartment would cost for a vacancy clean. He estimated 2 hours. When I called him 4 hours they are quoting me (see above), he said he doesn't give estimates. After trying to get him to stop talking and interrupting me and allow me to explain. He finally said he gave an estimate for 2 hours. It was like speaking to a teenager.

The price was fair, but still overcharged for the work they accomplished. I could have done the work by myself in 3 hours (I could have done the work they accomplished in 2 hours and they had 2 people). I would probably pay more for a service that would treat me better and respect the service that they themselves provide.

I am currently requesting a $20 refund due to the poor service.

I like them quite a bit. They are pretty good. They charge me $57 for three hours of work. They have very good qualities while they are working and they are very quick. Most of the people that they send do not speak much English but that is okay because they are very sweet. They seem reliable and they certainly are reasonable. They do an awfully good job for what they charge.

They were good.  They went about their business and cleaned.

The maids arrived early....that is the end of the good. I told the owner three times it was a move out inspection cleaning and what I needed done. When maids arrived they had no idea what I needed done. First and only question she asked me was how many hours do you want? As for the cleaning, it was cleaner than when they arrived but I had to loop back and redo parts of everything they did. An example is when they finished vacumning there was still visible debris on carpet. There was soap residue left in sinks. I'd call it a very superficial cleaning. At one point I took a picture of one of the maids texting while she was on the clock. Housecleaning is a very competitive space and you can do much better than miracle maids.

I called and I was a little taken aback by the man who answered the phone. He said he would try and squeeze me in, but he told me I had to be home. I told him if they came right before I left for work, I could do it. In the morning, no one showed at 7:30, so I took off. I had a weird feeling to leave my key in the hiding place on the porch and I grumpily looked for other places to clean my place while I was at work. I was kinda irritated.

When I arrived home, I was in SHOCK. The maid/maids (I never saw anyone) had shown up, managed to find the key (I hadn't told anyone where I had left it, guess I need a better hiding spot!) I swung my door open to the smell of bleach! My apartment was SPARKLING. I ran around it like a little kid! 

Whoever cleaned my place went out of their way to do an amazing job. $50 for a deep clean on a 1 bedroom - what a steal! I cannot say enough good things about whoever ended up showing up, I ended up being thrilled, calling the number back and leaving a message completely bewildered and excited and told the man to please pass along my many thanks. They even made my bed...

I thought this would be a one time thing, but I am going to start using these people every two weeks. Miracle Maids quoted me at $109. Anyway, to summarize...Affordable, Thorough, TOTALLY recommend.

We have been using Miracle Maids for  weekly cleanings for a year now.   They do an excellent job at a very reasonable rate.  The cleaning crews are thorough, and the owner does a great job of keeping the scheduling straight, e.g., working in extra visits, cancellations, etc.  We move often, and consequently have used many, many cleaning services.  Miracle Maids is the best we've used.
