I paid the same day for their services. Ever since, I have received collection calls and emails claiming I did not pay even though I have the CC receipt, their receipt of payment and Crystal, the accounts receivable manager IN WRITING telling me that they received my CC payment. I have spoken to Crystal, Jule, Claudia and Bill (the supposed manager) who ALL claim to have resolved the issue. Yet today I received BOTH a collections call and email once again... IF they can't manage their accounts receivable, how can any one trust them on services.

I honestly cannot believe that these guys are still in business. They came and said they aerated our yard but you couldn't tell. I called them and the representative said that the yard needed to be watered and that's why the plugs weren't deep. I said it's not about how deep the plugs are it's about the fact that I don't see any. She continued to argue with me so I asked for her manager who came on the phone and yelled at me. It's one thing to have poor customer service it's another thing to be completely rude. They finally just agreed to come back out and redo the job. The guy who came out asked if I was getting my lawn aerated and I said no I'm getting it re aerated and he said it didn't look like anything had been done before what company did I use? He was embarrassed when I said I used his company but it also proved my point that you couldn't tell anything had been done. Regardless you don't yell and argue with customers. I just asked that they come out and look at it so I could show them what I meant because they were obviously not understanding the way I was saying it. I am completely dumbfounded as to how they're still in business.

For some reason they aerated only 1/4 of my yard before leaving ( I lived on 1/2 an acre at the time). They spent a grand total of 30 seconds only yard before leaving. When they called me again to do more services I told them not in a million years....They now email, text, and call me constantly despite my requests to be removed from their communication list.

Poor performance in lawn aeration. False advertising of "deeper plugs" than other services, which was not true. Continuace harrassing solicitations by phone calls, texts, and email years after I hired them to do any work, and long ago I've asked to be removed from all of their solicitation lists.

Their scheduling is a mess. I'm leaving this review, however due to the following: I used these guys a few years ago and was not impressed so stopped using them. I still get recorded messages which are annoying but whatever. But then yesterday some a-hole from there left me a creepy cryptic message. It was almost unintelligible but it was something about being "full of ****" and then saying "I don't like that". Um, what? Whatever his problem is, he is a pansy for leaving some anonymous mumbling message on a machine. And guess what....nobody cares what you "like". Too bad he doesn't care that he is making his business or his employer look bad since he thought it was a good idea to call from work.

Service person arrived on the agreed upon day, was very efficient, but quality of work was substandard. He ran over clearly marked sprinkler heads with the aerator, breaking the risers on two of them (see attached pix-$$ repair). Also, they advertise "deep plug aeration", but the size of the plugs was no different than anyone else.

The service was fine. However, there was communications snafu in the sense that I wanted a chemical irritation but I actually wanted progreation so it was a really good thing that I was here when the service provider came. They did not have a set time, they just had a set day.

This is the second time i have used them, last year and this year. This last time was the worst experience i have had. They failed to show up for the initial scheduled time. When i called to reschedule, they showed up 2 days prior. Then they showed up the day after that and finally they showed up on the rescheduled date. If is had not been home to stop them from over fertilizing, i shudder to think what my lawn would look like with over fertilizing and burning. They also broke my sprinkler head after i had mark all of them.

Their website shows a tanker truck with hose spraying. The actual device was a backpack filled with water from my garden hose. The tanker truck was not there. After about 5 minutes on site, I examined the lawn. Grass seed was not apparent. I called and they claimed the seed was mixed in with the liquid, forced into the grass. I asked why not seed was apparent on bald spots and the women said that she was just reading what they were told. I can not see any seed - anywhere. The backpack spraying did not touch some areas of the lawn.

BIG "F" REPORT CARD ! MY OPINION IS THIS COMPANY IS FRAUDGILANT ----- First I must compliment the man that came out, he was very courteous and nice, nothing against him, personally. But I am kicking myself for not shopping around or at least checking Angies List ! So first of all, I received a call about the $79. duct cleaning special, so I scheduled both my Mothers house and mine. The guy arrives in his own personal old truck, NOT even a Company truck ! he comes in and counts the vents and starts off with a price of $159 plus $20 for each vent over 10. I told him that is NOT the price I was quoted. So he continues to ask me if I have a confirmation number for that price or email confirmation. NO it was offered by phone. So he tells me he will give me the price I was quoted. Then he proceeds to add on $150 for furnace, $50 for cold air return and on and on ......I didn't accept all of the things he was pushing. He completed both houses, added it up (without a calculator) and I wrote the check. Later I'm looking at the ticket closer and found I was over charged $60 on each house ! $120. So I call the company and of course get the story "the manager is not available" and left my info. I waited 5 DAYS and called again. "I will send the manager another email". I waited another day and called again. " the manager is in a meeting". After waiting six days for a return call, I am getting very frustrated and considering putting up my own sign regarding the company, out in my yard which is visible to many people. Then realized I have a very good outlet in Angies LIst ! I went to their website to try and contact them and I read on their website about "brushing out ducts and sucking out debris with truck mounted monster vac" WOW that is soooo far from the truth ! there was no company truck and the guy brought in a shop vac ! NOW I MUST ADMIT THAT I SET MYSELF UP TO BE ROBBED !! I am considered the "general contractor" of the family and there are SIX houses that I help care for and hire services for. Mile Hi, I will never use your services again and will be certain to pass the word about your company ! SIX DAYS WITHOUT A RETURN CALL IS SIMPLY UNACCEPTABLE !!

Scheduling was an issue.  They would not commit to a window and expected you to be home all day or leave the gate unlocked so they could get in if you were not at home.  They did a good job on the aeration.  However, the over seeding of the lawn was not
acceptable.  They did not apply the seed in the manner that they told me it was to be done.  Minimal seed was put down.
I called the company and asked them to come out and redo it.  When I spoke to the person the form said only the front.
The person did both.  The method used on the back was the correct method and the method used in the front was not.
Scheduling the second appointment continued to be an issue again.
I would not use this company again.

The scheduling service has no IDEA what the actual complany can do.   The Gutter cleaning guys were a no show 3 times, no call,
no excuse, just didn't show up.  The lawn aeration guy also was a no show (supposedly his truck broke down)... BS!   NO CALLS to let the customer know they would not be there. The customer service reps have no idea when the guys are actually going to keep an appointment and the GM of Mile Hi said "there has been labor issues in the area, unfortunately this falls on the customer".   Terrible GM, took no responsibility for the no shows..." we just sit in seats and look at what's on our computers."   DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE, its not low cost, the work is average at best and the customer service is terrible.

I originally scheduled the service for May 1st, but I had to call in myself to make sure they weren't sending someone out that day since we had a late spring snowstorm.  I would think that they would be the ones to call me to reschedule seeing that the storm was forecasted a couple days in advanced, but I had to be the one to call in.  We reschedule service for the following Wednesday, May 8th.
Come May 8th- my husband was home at the time and a gentleman from MileHi did show up and barely spoke English, so there were difficulties in communication from the get-go.  He was only there for about 10 minutes, put the sign on our lawn, and then left.  When I came home, there was no indication of any overseeding done, much less anything else.  My husband contacted MileHi and was informed by the representative that the overseeding is just for bare spots- which we have plenty of- and told them that there wasn't a seed present whatsoever.
Horrible customer service and are out to rip people off.  Their sign went into the garbage right away...I would never recommend them to anyone.  Your money is better spent elsewhere.

I know there were watering restrictions for much of the summer in the Denver area, but this is the worst my lawn has EVER looked. The fertilizer could not have been weed control because the weeds are the worst I've had in 14 years of living in my home.  I checked all over their web site to see what fertilizer they use but they do not say.  If over seeding happened there is no evidence and with liquid aeration it's hard to tell anything was done.  I will not use Mile Hi Services for any lawn work in the future.  The accountability just isn't there with these 3 services.

The level or workmanship was acceptable, but I requested on numerous times that they call me ahead of the guy showing up to do the work. I work from home and have phone meetings with clients scheduled, so just wanted to know 20 minutes ahead of time so my dogs wouldn't bark when the guy showed up at my house and I was on a call. But despite these requests, he just turned up and started the work unannounced.
Is it too much to ask?

I purchased a groupon or some other deal online for them to provide aeration, fertilization and overseeding. They honored this with no problem and we went ahead and scheduled service. Vendor than came out and we had the service completed, no problem.

We called to set an appointment and they tried to up-sell us to a liquid aeration -- even offering to charge us only for the $39 and come back and do the deep plug aeration if we weren't satisfied.  After a quick online search on liquid aerations, we decided against it and asked just for the $39 deep plug aeration.  We also asked for them to leave the plugs on the grass -- two reasons we read to do this:  it's healthy for the grass and you get to verify the depth of the aeration.  I don't know if they do this anyway but they said agreed and scheduled an appointment.
Indeed, they did not show up on the scheduled day and my wife had to call and they rescheduled for us.  If it were not for my wife being stay-at-home, this might have been a bigger issue.  Even on the re-scheduled day they didn't show up on time and we actually went to the store and missed them completely.  But when we returned home, there was a little sign in the lawn indicating they had been there and the payment was taken.
After walking the lawn from corner to corner I have to say they did a great job.  The plugs were 3 inches long at least and they hit every inch of the lawn thoroughly, Even up against the fence where there are bare patches and uneven ground.  I was pleasantly surprised.  For the money, you can't beat their service.  Actually, even at three times the price, you can't beat it.  We'll use them again next spring and fall for sure.
Just be prepared for them to miss their appointment times.

For 2 years in a row now (Fall of 2011/2012) Mile Hi Services failed to show up at my residence on the scheduled date. In both years they failed to show up on the first date scheduled. In 2012 they failed to show up on the first and the second dates that were scheduled. All of this AFTER I called to verify my appointment on each day they were supposed to come and AFTER I received a phone call from their automated system saying they were coming.
Having dogs makes it impossible for me to leave the back yard unlocked so I have to stay around the house waiting for them. That is simply disrespectful of my time. If they don't want to do the job, they should say so we can call someone else to do the work.
I wish I could comment on the quality of their work, but they never showed up to let me see what a great job they claim to do!
If you value your time, DO NOT hire  Mile Hi Services for any reason. They are unprofessional and do not respect their customers.

I am pleased with the service and would use this provider again.  The only difficulty was that the technician did not speak or understand English.  It was good that I speak a little Spanish.

The technician showed up promptly and did the work with good cheer (although he did need to borrow some of our tools to get the work done).
However, there were a LOT of hidden costs.  The price quoted was good, but to do everything that I consider part of air duct cleaning, the price ended up triple the quoted cost.
Also, when I ordered the service, the rep they said that their portable vac was better and more effective than the truck mounts.  After seeing it in action, I seriously doubt it -- I don't think that vac had as much suction as my personal home vacuum cleaner, so I doubt that the ducts got cleaned very thoroughly.  Also, the santizer was just sprayed in the top of the ducts and quite a bit of it got into the rooms rather than the ducts.
Although the service was as advertised, I will not use them again for duct cleaning since it simply didn't seem effective.

When my husband arrived home, he put our dogs out in our fenced back yard, then went out into the front yard to do a few things. As he was working, he saw something in motion out of the corner of his eye. He looked up and was surprised to see our dogs galloping down the street! The Mile Hi worker had not closed our gate properly, leaving our dogs free to escape and roam - and possibly be injured (or worse) by a car. We also discovered that the worker had pulled up a strip of sod in our backyard, about a foot wide and five feet long - and had not even bothered to put it back in place and tamp it down, or to leave us a note telling us about the problem. I contacted the company and was referred to Crystal. She listened to my first complaint about the sod, and asked when it had been installed. Answer: July. She said based on that, it shouldn't have been aerated at all, and had she known, she would have told the worker to aerate the established front lawn, not the back. Okay, fair enough - but if it's the company policy to not aerate sod installed within the past four months, perhaps it should be noted on the website, or even better, a question about recently installed sod should be part of the online scheduling form. As it stands now, there is no way for Mile Hi to know about recently installed sod when customers schedule aeration using the company's website. Then, I relayed my story about my dogs, noting that they could have been killed. Crystal interrupted me and said, "I hate it when people say that dogs or children could have been killed. No dogs or children died." True... but not the customer friendly response I was looking for. She did say, twice in a very perfunctory way, that the company apologized. She also noted that when you're doing a large volume of lawn aerations, mistakes will happen, whether it's leaving a gate open or breaking a sprinkler head, or - whatever. Factually, she is correct. But from a customer-service standpoint, this perfunctory response was lacking in sincerity and empathy. My take-away from my conversation with Crystal: Mile Hi Services really doesn't give a damn about its customers. Although I had actually recommended this company in an earlier report, I will never again use Mile Hi Services for lawn aeration or anything else.

The liquid lawn aeration was found to be a hoax by a Colorado Springs news channel who did an undercover story on Mile Hi. The tested the liquid put into the lawn and found it to be none other than straight water-while they advertise it is a mixture of chemicals to deeply peirce the soil. In addition each technician only spent about 5 mintues on each lawn.
