Mile High Locksmith™

I was locked on my balcony at my apartment complex and my apartments. Emergency line told me that they would not be willing to offer me help and that I needed to call a locksmith. So I did a bit of Google research researching on these people seems highly reputable and decently priced. Their website states that their fee starts at $30 and goes up based off of services needed not based off with the person showing up. Not at any point between me calling them and asking them for their services and them showing up did they mention anything about their pricing and they’re ridiculous scamming. But eventually a locksmith showed up he was in a car that was not a work van like they have shown on their website, and then he proceeds to completely bust my door frame to the point where now it won’t stay shut and there’s a gap in the lock where you can see between my living room and the hallway. When I sat there arguing with him about the pricing of 388 due to the fact that their website says that they started $30 he decided that he was gonna go down to 50 and when I still argued with him, he told me that I needed to pay it. He stood there and would not leave so I had to pay it and now I’m trying to fight it with my bank and also with you guys so that hopefully that doesn’t become an issue in the future. I also posted on Reddit about the situation and there are quite a few other people in the area that have also previously been scammed by these guys and the only way that they were able to get the price on the website was if they offered to leave a good Google review. So not only are there Google reviews misleading but their website is also heavily misleading. Also know they aren’t listed as a real company under BBB of CO and have a 1 star rating there.

Benny was the best locksmith that I could have asked for! He was prompt, up front with the pricing, and stayed until the job was done right! He didn’t give up until the 83 year old client was able to operate the lock!! I should have tipped him, but I will next time. I was glad to see a young man with work ethics, and big time customer service. Better yet…. Have him call me and I would like to buy him dinner!(303)550- he knows the rest.

I used Mile High Locksmith to rekey my new home. The tech, Beni, showed up early (per my request) was upfront and worked quickly. The real customer service came when I forgot about an additional door that needed rekeying after the tech left. He returned without an additional service charges and was awesome to work with. It's far and few between when you really enjoy customer service experiences like this!
