I can’t say how impressed I was with Masterpiece. They replaced my roof last summer and it still looks brand new! My roof needed replacing, and as usual, my insurance denied payment for my roof. Thank goodness Rex and his team were amazing advocates for me against my insurance company. Not only did my roof get replaced, I got new gutters, siding, painting and a few new screens. I only had to pay my deductible. I’m about ready to put my house on the market within the next year and had I not had my roof replaced, I’d be paying around $35,000 out of pocket for a new roof. I can’t thank Masterpiece Roofing enough!!!

This experience was about as good as a used car lot, as soon as you sign on the dotted line they forget about the promises they made in order to get you to sign. The sales rep. said he would be at our house every step of the way to ensure that things go smooth, roofing materials showed up on time, roofers show up, no supervision from sales rep or lead roofer, a 1 day install. The gutter guy...guy (1) shows up and he worked his tail off over the weekend (about 24+ hours), good job, but he noticed the roofers didn't seal nails that hold top ridge cap ends down so he notified office. Now the fun begins, the roofers snipped the drip edge at every gutter hanger instead of taking the time to do it right (at least for quality purposes). This shortcut could have been avoided but the office assumed that the gutters were not approved so they hurried with the roof anyway. Still no sales rep. representation as promised because they didn't even know where their sales rep. was, they asked me if I had seen or heard from him. gutter leaks behind gutter, drip edge cut jagged and too short, CSR's showing up when they feel like and not at set appt. times. (always when we are not home to explain concerns to remedy the mistakes). One thing they were consistent with was the request to be paid in full, not even once did they ask if we were satisfied with the work performed but instead hounding our insurance company for money. Now we are getting notices from them to pay in full or they will begin the lien process, still have not completed to our satisfaction.

Job not done, incompetent and stolen money: A contract was signed with this company Sept 2018 for our roof replacement. We also gave them $1000 check to expedite the job. We mentioned we would be on vacation in 6 weeks for 2 weeks. I get a text while in Barbados, that they want to do our roof. I said that would not work, if something went wrong with our house; ie if any damage happened to the property; we had no one watching the house while gone. Upon returning to the US, I'm the one who tried to get the roof rescheduled, because the company didn't. The week of Thanksgiving, material was placed on our roof, but the company didn't even know this. 2 weeks later, the company shows up with 4 roofers for a 2600sq ft house, and it was going to snow the next day. The sub-contracted roofer told my wife there is no way 4 people could complete the job in one day, and with the snow, he said if it was his house, he wouldn't start the job. I asked the company to replace 3 damaged doors,and had to call repeatedly to ask where the door guy was. One evening 2 months later, a guy is on my back patio. After he repeatedly apologized (accepted) for showing up unannounced, he measured all three doors. It's now January 2019, and no word from this company. Materials are removed from the roof. I talked to 4 people in this company, repeatedly, including the owner, for the return of the $1000 deposit. It is now March 2019 I have heard nothing from this company, regarding the roof or doors, and they still have our $1000 dollars.

We were contacted a few days before they were to do the job. The shingles were delivered and placed on the roof. The crew showed up on time and Started the job. They removed the old roof completely and then installed the new shingles. The crew did a fantastic job and we are very happy with the work done. They also did some gutter repair and replaced some of the leaf guard on the gutters. John Moody, the Marketing Director, kept in touch with us and was present to answer/resolve any questions or concerns we had. John also dealt with our insurance agent and took care of all the claim information for our roof replacement. We are extremely happy with all aspects in dealing with Masterpiece Roofing. We couldn't attach a picture because it is a rainy day and too dark to take a detailed picture. The roof is doing a great job with the rain.

From our first meeting with Russ to the final walk thru everything was professional and worth every cent. From the power washing, priming, painting and cleanup was done excellently. Russ also suggested a great new color that really showed off the home. The painters are long term employees and it shows. Masterpiece has my endorsement and my next job. Masterpiece did an incredible job discovering hail damage that had been done to my roof. They were great advocates with my insurance company to get the cost of replacement covered. Can't say enough good things about that. The quality of the finished product is first rate. The on site crew did the work with minimum disruption and with total professionalism. They were a pleasure to be around. There were some tricky conditions and they worked to get them solved, even though it meant working longer on the job than they originally had assumed. After the roofing was done, Masterpiece also replaced all the gutters and downspouts. Same comments: total professionalism, great customer service, and an A+ crew doing the work. I would highly recommend Masterpiece, and would use them again in a heartbeat.

Customer Service was great. Lee and Nate were totally in contact thru out. Roofers were professional, courteous, prompt,excellent cleanup. Very co-operative w/us as homeowners on concerns. Hugo was the Supervisor Roofer on Job Site and was excellent with communication+skill+getting Roof Project+our WoodStove Pipe properly anchored when new roof installed. Love our new Roof and we were suggested a Green Color of which we were so glad it was an option. I would recommend Masterpiece and will call them for other projects. Had this done Nov 2017. We will go thru our 1st season and I will do another review once we go thru our 1st winter+spring rains. But looks amazing+shouldnt have any problems. Great warranty also.

They helped me with my insurance claim and everything went well. There were some delays, but it was mainly because of the amount of work to be done as they almost did a complete makeover. Overall I am completely satisfied and would defnitely recommend them to my friends and family.

Masterpiece did an EXCELLENT job for us. Rex personally managed everything from contracting with us to negotiating with the insurance company to completion of the inspection. I would like to say everything went flawlessly, but it didn't. That didn't bother me. I believe it's unreasonable to expect such a large project to be executed without some mistakes. What's important to me is how the company handles those situations. Rex & Masterpiece went above and beyond my expectations in resolving the few things that arose. After having been treated poorly by many contractors over my life, I found Rex & Masterpiece to be a breath of fresh air in an industry for which I have very low expectations.

When my insurance company turned down my initial hail claim, I was very discouraged. Steve and Chris helped me through the next steps and eventually got my claim approved. The crew that did my roof was awesome too. I was impressed with how professional and courteous they were. Their clean up afterwards was also very thorough. All in all, the best experience I've ever had with a roofing company!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Awful. They scammed us and drastically overcharged for the gutter cleaning we had them do at our property. My neighbor and I each own 1/2 of our attached duplexes and my neighbor called to have the gutters cleaned. We have never paid more than $300 for this in the past. We scheduled the service and told Masterpiece to call if it was going to cost more than $300. My neighbors mother was at my house to let them in. They never called my neighbor about the cost going over $300 & when she arrived home she found a bill (paid in full, unknowingly, by her mom) for $2,500! She then called Lani arguing for nearly 45 minutes until she got the cost down to $1,200 (which is still a total rip off). The workers completely took advantage of the situation and my neighbors elderly mother. I personally called Lani several times after the fact to give them the opportunity to correct this egregious overcharge. On my first call to her, Lani said that she would reduce the charge to $300 if I showed her one of my previous invoices of $300. I sent this to her and then had to call several times before talking with her. She said this was none of my business (since my neighbor called and not me even though I am paying 1/2 of the bill) and that she would not refund the overcharge as she previously said she would do. Crooked company that will take advantage of you if they have the opportunity.

If the owner of the property thinks we are the right company to do the job, then it should be his prerogative. We are not scamming anyone. And our rates are on our website as well. You should settle your issue with your landlord and not us."

A went well overall. The sales representatives were very knowledgeable and professional. A couple little hiccups during planning but they had just hired a new employee that was learning the ropes, so I chock it off to that. I would recommend them to friends and family.

They did an outstanding job. I got a new roof six years ago and thought that company did a good job. However, Masterpiece did a much better job. Every detail was done correctly. They showed up on time and cleaned up. They installed new vents and made sure my new gutters were draining correctly.
