They helped us chose quality products without going overboard on cost in both selecting the wood which would match our existing hardwood hickory floors and wrought iron balusters that were a compromise between my husbands style and mine.  The install took longer than originally estimated, but the Tyler worked late hours to get it done as quickly as possible.  

The workman ship is great, and the job was well done, however, they only install the rails - you must make arrangements with an outside provider to stain/paint the rails at an additional cost.   
The workers were over an hour late the first day - (extending the time I had to take off work) finally showing up at 10:00 am.  No work was performed the first day, just dropped off materials.  The earliest they were there to start the day was 9:30 am.  
Clean up in the house was fine, however, my garage it totally trashed.   The fine dust from the work is everywhere, including my son's belongings that were being stored there from a recent move.   It would have been nice for them to cover things with drop cloths, or at least informed me so I could have.  Very inconvenient, and a pain to clean up.  
They came highly recommended, which is why I used them - but not sure I would use them again.    

We can highly recommend Majestic Rails...without any reservations.  Yes we hit "bumps' along the way in the remodeling process...they were always resolved in a timely and easy fashion.  The finished product exceeded our high expectations.

Two words come to mind:  TRUE CRAFTSMANSHIP
I have never employed such meticulous and skilled craftsmen.  The team of two carpenters who worked together (for the entire project) are reminicent of yesteryear, of old world craftsmanship - where each joint, each fit-up, was a focus of intense concentration and effort.  Yes, they used lots of modern tools to get the job done, but with such classic "pride in precision".
From tear-out to final sanding and departure, these gentlemen exhibited amazing professionalism and competence.
I can honestly say that I have not found a single defect with thier work (and I have looked at it up-close and personal during the staining/finishing).  The posts and rails are solid as rock.  The balusters perfectly set and aligned.
The project was not cheap, but now we have something to be proud of - as the first thing visitors see when they enter our house.
I am happy to write this review for an outstanding small business.  It has given me hope that there are still some craftspeople out there who take pride in their work instead of just "getting it done and getting paid".

It went well.

Generally, Majestic Rails did a very good job installing our new staircase.  The estimate was reasonable and the work performed well.  However, the job deviated from the estimate (some bull nose that was included in the estimate was installed before they got there, a small landing had also been already done, some trim left off per our request).  The hiccup was reconciling the estimate with the work performed in the end.  The communication between Vlad and Alex (the workers), the front office, and Russel - the person who drafted the estimate was not great.  To be clear, the work was great and it all got straightened out in the end.  It just took several calls and follow-up on my end to make certain we paid for what we received. 

Majestic Rails was great to work with from start to finish.  They provided two different quotes, one using hemlock and the other using cherry.  We went with the cherry option.  They do not perform the stain finish work but provided a number of painter references to stain the rail once it is completed.  Majestic quoted that it would take three days to do the work and the new rail was completed in 2.5 days despite some difficulty obtaining one of the newel posts.  Gary, who performed the work on site, was very professional, courteous and great to work with the entire time he was in our home.  He did an absolutely incredible job and you could tell he really cared about his work and the finished product.  He also did a great job minimizing the dust and mess in our home during the 2.5 days he was here.  The Majestic Rails office manager, Suzanne, was also great to work with throughout the entire process.  We would recommend them to others interested in replacing their railing.

I thought the price was a bit high but we got other estimates and we didn’t feel like we could do a lot better.  Their work was great and I thought the craftsmanship was good. 

There was a lot of selection and they were helpful in assisting me on the decision. I have a curved rail on the stairs and upper landing.  The final result is stunning, secure and exactly what I wanted.

Their extreme professionalism stood out to me. They are very, very good craftsmen.

Overall it went very well. Just be aware that to carpentry work in your garage will have sawdust Everywhere! so plan ahead and cover your belongings.

Outstanding! These guys are the real deal. We tried to get by on the cheap and quickly discovered "You get what you pay for." Majestic fixed the issues left by others and now our entrance has that Wow factor.The stairs have a custom look - not the classic track builder (in & out) as fast as they can. I highly recommend Majestic. You'll pay a little more but trust me - you'll be gald you did.

This was an example of excellent customer service from start to finish.. I contacted the company to get an estimate for installation of ballusters. Suzanne provided an over the phone estimate, however I wanted them to see the job before commiting to it.. Russell performed the estimate, he was very prompt, courteous and the initial estimate was confirmed. The most amazing part of the process was discussing the project start date.. It's the Holiday season and I needed the work done as soon as possible. Russell contacted his crew and they were able to come out the same day. (within the hour). The crew was very efficient and friendly. They completed the job within a few hours and the the finished job is beautiful. Great customer service is important to me this was a WOW experience. Thank you to everyone at Majestic rails.

They did great work on the floors. They are a very professional company. I had no surprises during the project. They came and finished the job on time. I would highly recommend them.
