M. Teixeira Soapstone

We had been interested in soapstone for awhile and had visited Teixeira in Denver several times to see the stone.  Vivian and Jay were very warm and helpful and answered all our questions.  When we decided to purchase it was an easy decision.

Even though they are in Denver and we are in Black Forest, there was no whining about distance.  Their template arrived on time, was respectful of our home, and did his work.  When the stone was installed it went the same way.  Easy, beautiful, and we are thrilled with our stone. 

Every step of the way Vivian was there to answer questions or address concerns.  We also purchased floor tile for our sunroom from Teixeira, and they were very helpful in that regard as well.

We truly appreciate Vivian and her crew, and would highly recommend them for any project!

I was looking for soapstone or granite counter-tops and had visited a number of stone stores and was not impressed with their knowledge, professionalism or pricing especially in regard to soapstone.  I then found M. Teixeira on Angie's list and visited their location and was very impressed.  I provided Jay with my dimensions and requirements and he put together an estimate on the spot - the pricing was very fair (and "significantly" lower than the "estimates" I received from other stone stores whose soapstone bids were vague at best). 
I made a couple trips to their location to meet with Vivian to select the right stone slab and view their fabrication process which they do right there on-site.  They never tried to up-sale me on anything and spent the time necessary so I was very comfortable in my decision.
When their template guy (Angel) came to my house to make the template he discovered an issue with how my cabinets were installed which I had not noticed but turned out to be significant.  I had to reschedule so that I could resolve the cabinet problem (the problem was my inexperience at installing cabinets : ) but I truly appreciate that they brought this issue to my attention AND didn't hit me with a surcharge for having to have them come out a second time.
The day of the install, their install team, and Jay the owner, arrived right on time and were very professional and courteous and installed the counter-tops in less than two hours without a hitch.  The counter-tops look amazing, the quality is top notch and I can't say enough about the entire process of working with the entire crew at M. Teixeira - very positive.

I stopped by the warehouse after finding them online... Picked out my stone which that held for me and installed a couple of weeks later. I am very pleased with the installation the countertops are on both of bath vanities now!

I had finally decided to get soapstone countertops...  I went to a couple places and I found these people to be great.  I walked in, told them my measurements and they gave me a good estimate right then and there - no overselling or stalking as I walked around their stock.
When it came time to commit, they had my details in their computer, scheduled a very nice gentleman who cam to measure.  He was very informative and very helpful...  We discussed options and in about 20 minutes all was set.  In coordinating all the trades for my kitchen remodel, this company was the most flexible and accommodating...  They were very professional and did all they could to meet my difficult schedule!Today was the install and I couldn't be more thrilled...  My countertops look beautiful!  The installers were polite, very careful of my wood floors and altogether great to work with.  Everything was seamless...  The measurements they took were perfectly fabricated and everything fit first chance...
I would highly recommend them and would work with them again in a heart beat!  I remodel restaurants for my regular job and wish all my contractors were this efficient, flexible and proficient!
