LIMBWALKERS TREE SERVICE

We requested a quote and within the week we received a reasonable bid to trim all 3 large trees on our property. One of the trees was primarily dead and hanging over our home and they did a wonderful job. The trees look so much better and healthy. We were very happy with their quote as another company quoted us nearly double the price.

Tree removal and stump grinding - one minute you have a tree and the next you don't. In that respect, Limbwalkers did a fine job. They worked around multiple wires hanging from the alley to our house, only knocking one loose which they replaced. Tree trimming in the front went fine - job looks good from what I can tell. What I'm less than happy about is the finish work and clean up. Front yard ended up okay, but it seems like the guys ran out of steam at the end of the day. Multiple branches, bits of debris, and stump pieces left around the back yard. Maybe this is standard practice, but I was surprised to find all the chipping debris from stump grinding was just piled up and left in the yard. Cigarette butt thrown into a bush - c'mon - not cool. My biggest problem is they managed to break loose a fence post leading from the back yard to the alley, so now I can no longer secure my back yard. Looking at the post I can see that, yes, it might be a little rotted, but the bottom line is it was secure and in place before they came and when they left my post is broken off completely. I pointed this out to one of the owners and he didn't seem at all concerned or make any effort to offer a solution. I had planned on removing the fence eventually, but not out of emergency necessity now that our back yard is open to the alley. Bottom line is that workmanship is fine, but the clean up and finish details were lacking.

Mark, Henry, and the Limbwalkers team removed four 70+ year old elms and trimmed one more for us in April 2016, and they did an amazing job throughout the process. Mark is incredibly nice and professional, and he treats his guys right and makes sure everyone stays safe. He took care of all the permitting and clearly knows a lot about that side of things; he also told us about a city program for replacement trees (which we never would have known about otherwise), and now we're getting a free replacement tree!
We got bids from 8-10 companies and Limbwalkers's was definitely the lowest bid we received (some other companies bid two and three times what they did). Mostly, though, we just appreciated how honest and kind Mark was  at every turn. We feel great about recommending Limbwalkers to family and friends.

I have an older home with a lot of very old, large trees. One of my trees had a dead limb that need to be removed before it did damage to my house and/or fence (looked as if lightening had hit it). The guys showed up on time and got the job done. While they were there, they offered to grind the tree stump for a very good reasonable price so I had them do that too. When they were done, all the tree debris was cleaned up. I've used them twice and will use them again.

They took out two trees, one very dangerous and trimmed 3 others.

They did a super job for me with the  tree I needed removed and with trimming my other trees.

They showed up on time, took about four hours to remove trees. It was amazing to watch. Their was no damage and site was left clean.
