From our initial phone call, it was clear we were in good hands with Dirk Andringa - he was enthusiastic about our upcoming move to the downtown area and asked all the right questions as to what our ideal "urban living" home and lifestyle would involve.
Within a day he emailed us a number of property listings for us to review and asked us to give feedback of what we liked and didn't like, which really helped us clarify our needs/wants as well as provide an idea of what the various buildings and neighborhoods had to offer for the asking price.
Over the next couple months, Dirk sent us specific listings that were tailored to our feedback, and that spring we flew out to look at a number of properties. When we decided to submit an offer on what is now our current home, Dirk's expert knowledge of the building's previous condo sales, the neighborhood and the current downtown market in general helped us come up with a competitive number. His professionalism and confidence set the tone during the negotiating process, and he kept us constantly updated with every development. until a final agreement was reached.
As we prepared for our move, Dirk was more than happy to provide referrals and advice on everything from moving companies to local insurance agents. And on our closing day, he even met us at our building early that morning so we could use his car to secure an extra parking space for the moving truck! He truly was willing, from start to finish, to go the extra mile to make sure that our relocation went smoothly and we were happy with our new home.
We're now blissfully settled into a beautiful condo in a great downtown Denver neighborhood, thanks to his efforts and guidance. Dirk Andringa was wonderful to work with and my husband and I would call on him again in a heartbeat - but we have no intention of leaving Denver anytime soon!
