They request 50% up front, 25% more once they are almost done, and then they finish and ask for the rest. The roofing is the only thing he did for me. It was supposed to be done almost a year ago and the last communications we have was a month ago and since then I have had someone else come in to do work. He owes me $13,000 still. He doesn't answer my phone calls anymore.
